Best Greggs in the North East. Lovely friendly and very busy staff, who obviously take pride in their job. The shop itself is immaculate. Worth the travel for the fresh bread and baked goods alone.

Zipped in to grab some drinks and sandwiches and the staff were very smiley and quick to serve. Greggs staff often seem a bit overwrought with the speeds required to do 15 things at once, but these ladies were serene and cheerful, thank you for making the refueling effortless
Really friendly staff and always well stocked. Ideal for free parking outside too. One of the few Greggs in the area that have a plentiful supply of bread and stotties to buy. Decent sized suntrap outside seating area as well if you're not taking away.

Staff so friendly and helpful food is amazing we travel fron blaydon to this specific shop as the breakfast rolls are amazing and staff so much happier compared to our local branch we spoke to a member of staff mandy whom was so helpful as we had large order nothing was a problem thank you so much for your help

Had a coffee and a steak bake after walking the dogs. Place was warm, food was Gregg's standard, altogether was a nice break and good value
