Only popped in for a drink, but the staff were very pleasant. There was live music on which was a nice addition 👌

Lovely location. Busy little pub in the evening. Amazing Chinese restaurant attached. Doggy friendly. Room very much on the small side. Breakfast self service continental but with plenty of choice.

Stayed here for 2nights.very nice room comfy bed.hosts couldn't do enough 4 us would recommend 4 relaxing wkend locals were very friendly.

Lovely quirky pub with loads of character and a wide selection of ales available. Does get busy but that only adds to the atmosphere.

Very generous Sunday roast portions, tasty and mostly very well cooked (beef could have been pinker for my taste). Nice homley feel and staff were very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the ale and wine too. Desserts were excellent, apple crumble in particular. All for a very reasonable price too

Nice old pub, and the social centre of a small and gorgous old village that has not one shop. Good food, good atmosphere. Loved the sweet potato chips, not found anywhere else around.
