Wow this pub is beautiful. 1571 it opened. Over 650 years old. Midsummer murders has been filmed there. This place has charm and character. Meals are a very generous size on large plates. The barman was very friendly. It's a neat place to spend some time in.

Perfect pub for a hiking trip, plenty of space inside the pub when the weather is not too good and plenty of tables in their front garden for the sunny days.
The service is good, the Devon salad is so good as well the deserts, a good place to have a rest and the going back for more walk around these beautiful hills.
Best lunchtime pub we have visited for a long time! Great hosts and food was top notch and very reasonable prices. Good selection of beers. The honey roast lamb chops cooked to perfection and the salmon and prawn starter was superb. Well done the team at the Lions of Bledlow!
This place is a beautiful stop for those biking, walking the public paths through gorgeous fields and all thirsty and hungry people. It has a beautiful community atmosphere, the food is good and the outside seats and garden beautiful. We arrived on a sunny Sunday and enjoyed a delicious roast under the huge tree in front of the pub.
Absolutely beautiful old pub. The food was incredible and the staff were lovely. Great beer too. Would love to go back next time I'm in the area.

Great experience visiting from USA! Salmon was excellent, hamburger, chips, ham, deep fried brie. Sitting inside or outside are both delightful! The service was great. Order from the bar.
Nice character and good ales to choose from. Awesome beer garden in the back and lots of additional tables outside in the front to enjoy the scenery. Had a good lunch as well.
Idyllic spot, ace atmosphere and the service was really good - super friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to walk here again.
Excellent Sunday roast with tender very lean meat and fresh veg. Frangipane and raspberry tart very nice. Very good service. Well done all.
Great place to stop when you are on a hike, has a great little garden out back. Had the ploughman man a couple of drinks.
Great ice cream! Plus a peaceful sunny green out front and a characterful old interior - but with a low height beam to catch the unwary!
Great pub, beautiful setting, lovely ambience, charming staff and great food and beer. Highly recommended. 5*
Lovely pub set in the past and the beautiful chiltern countryside. I've enjoyed this cosy pub in the winter, and again, it's lovely to soak up the sun on a summer's day too.
Lovely old pub with excellent value food and friendly young staff.
A warm and rustic pub with an open fire at one end, a central bar and a wood stove at the other end. Low beamed ceilings and eclectic furnishing add to the inviting feel.
The staff is friendly and the food is good, but in no way fussy.
Dogs are welcome. A good place to stop if walking on the Ridgeway path.
