Every time I'm in Prestwick this is where I go for coffee....fantastic food, coffee and the friendliest most hardworking lovely couple running it who go over and above for their customers.

Food is really good wasnt overly impressed with the waitress .seemed a bit upity putting my husband in place twice on his use of words ( ham as in bacon and roll she said is muffin ) given its a small cafe in kilmarnock im sure she knew exactly what he meant .

Excellent Bacon Roll and Lentil Soup today for lunch. Can't fault proprietors attitude, spot on as usual. Collette and Charlie Another example of an extremely hard working couple on Prestwick Main Street, shop small and local.

Visiting Prestwick with our motorhome for a few days, looking for somewhere dog friendly for lunch and saw the beechwood has a sign in window saying dog friendly. So glad we stopped, food was freshly made to order and delicious, charlie our dog was given fresh water and staff warm and friendly. Will definitely come again if back on prestwick. We talked to the owner about recommendations for a dog friendly pub for our evening, they recommend the smugglers, great advice, we had a lovely evening mixing with the locals and Aga n very dog friendly. All in all a great few days in Prestwick.
