Popped in for cocktails, the staff were great, and the drinks were very nice.
Our first time here, we only went in for drinks but will be back to try the food I'm sure. The staff were lovely, and the decor really nice. We ordered our drinks and went through to the covered beer garden through the back. The seats were comfy, it's all under cover and if its cold there's heaters and blankets too.
First visit and i was completely impressed. The service was excellent and my steak was cooked perfectly with good flavor and very tender. Its been a while since i had a steak of this quality and i feel the price is also a good value considering the food quality and service. I definitely recommend and would return the next time im in the area.
Ah the food hit the spot! Got sea bass, salmon, home slaw and sweet potato fries. Guys serving were great; especially the one who’s trying to get halal meat on the menu - hopefully the chef agrees! Would dine again if I’m in the area. Edit: pp was £25 ish not 50 😅 and we already started eating before taking the pic - doesn’t do the food justice
Busy, but relatively small restaurant with a surprising number of tables actually. Food and decor is more casual than intimate dining and it's good for small groups or couples. Service was pleasant but disappointingly slow despite appearing to have plenty of staff. We were seated by the bar area and after waiting over half an hour for someone to take our drinks order we resorted to calling over when 3 staff were there. Attentiveness 1/10 I'm afraid. Delivery of the drinks was really slow as well and this didn't make us feel great. When the food did come it was actually very enjoyable. The spicy wings were the table's choice for best starter. Tangy, spicy and very tasty. I had the flank steak and it was perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious with the Chimichurri sauce on the side. Two of our group had the signature burger and said it was tasty albeit my wife felt the marrow flavour was a bit strong for her.
First time at Gorge and it was "gorge". Nice friendly service, and the tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection. It didn't need a sauce but they have a range to choose from if that's how you like it. Good wine list too with mellow South American music in the background. Also the vegetable sides were delicious. Usually sides are an afterthought, but these were tasty and went well with the steak. They've done a good job here.
PS: Suggested improvements - please provide toothpicks - after people's steak and you need another toilet.

We were just walking by and was actually on our way to another venue, however a couple came out and said go in you won't regret it, and they were absolutely right, great service food was superb Alex and Lucas really friendly and helpful, had cocktails which were excellent as they were made correctly and with decent sprirts, rather than premix. Food was noticeably fresh and well prepared, I need to ask how they make their rice it was light and separated. The gorge sauce was very tasty with a spicey kick. The lamb and mixed grill cooked perfectly. We will be back♥️

Actually stunning 🤩 gorge is gorgeous, food was so nice, really fantastic decor and atmosphere and friendly fast service. 100% will be returning to this place.
Absolutely amazing! Came in after a couple of drinks and were given a warm welcome from the staff who really knew their stuff, we had the chicken wings and salgadinhos for starters which where lovely! For mains we had the best steaks we've had in a long time cooked to perfection medium-rare practically melted in our mouths! To top it off we had a Biscoffe cheesecake which was divine. Will definitely be back!!!
Been meaning to try here for a while and had a child free couple of hours. We both had the gorge bite starter which was bacon chorizo and cheese in a garlic butter on a toasted brioche. It was superb. I had the burger which was really nice, if I was going to be really picky, and I am being REALLY picky here, the bacon should either have the fat removed or rendered down until crisp, but I cut it off and the rest of it was well cooked, flavoursome and thoroughly enjoyed. The seasoned skin on fries were absolutely sensational too. I never had dessert as we ended up going to slatterys instead but beech time I'll plump for the biscoff cheesecake I think. Prestwich Social could really learn a thing or two from Gorge about presenting well cooked, tasty food in a timely manner. Will absolutely be back 👍
The cocktails here were amazing, especially the espresso latini. However, there are limited food options on the menu.
We ordered the steak platter for 2 which was pricey at £60, but none the less the flavours were tasty. If I was to really pick, the steak was a bit chewy and not tender enough. The portion size was perfect and service prompt from the staff.
It was a relaxed atmosphere and all the waiters/waitresses were very friendly.
I enjoyed our time at Gorge and recommend if you want a chilled vibe cocktail bar/restaurant.

Wanted to go here well before it finally opened, it took a while due to Covid. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal sat outside in the courtyard. The mushroom starter and homemade bread was amazing! I also really enjoyed the chicken espetinhos for my main. Loved the churrps trifle for dessert but have to admit it was a large portion and a bit dry. Could do with either being smaller or served with more sauce. Looking forward to coming back and having some brunch.

What a wonderful little gem and great new addition to the Prestwich restaurant club! It was my husband and I's first date night since lockdown and having our 2nd baby a couple of months ago so wanted somewhere decent, Gorge looked good from it's Instagram and in real life - well, it didn't disappoint and was well worth it! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lovely staff, the place had great character and the food was so well done. I'm veggie and absolutely loved the Brazilian stew, so much flavour and depth, while my other half devoured the steak and the triple cooked chips - wow. Nice little dessert selection too (room for some more?!) that are made in-house. Will definitely be back again soon, the bunch menu looks delish too!
