Nice food, well maintained gardens. Welcome dogs and children, plenty of tables. Staff work hard, and friendly. Varied menu. Lovely afternoon tea. Caters for vegetarian and gluten free diets.
Our first visit here after we'd visited Samlesbury Hall and we'll definitely return to try some hot food. Lovely fresh sandwiches (we both opted for granary bread, scrummy and soft) Excellent service. Doesn't look much from outside but pleasantly surprised when we entered. Rustic country decor, spac
Lovely spacious interior and has a nice patio with plenty of outdoor seating. Mothers Day treat, very well staffed good menu with plenty of choice and well presented food and drinks. Very nice atmosphere ticket all the boxes for a nice afternoon.
Been here a couple of times now for breakfast and it’s always been excellent. Staff are really friendly and attentive. Food is fantastic and it’s really relaxed.
Just popped in for a cuppa but was very impressed with the place. It was quiet at the time we were there but the staff were efficient and friendly. The sofa seating was comfortable and we enjoyed our time there. I would certainly go back. Thank you.
We had a table for 8 and ordered off the set breakfast menu - the food was great and plenty of it. The service was fantastic the waitress couldn’t do enough for us very attentive. Would highly recommend a visit. We will be back for sure.
Great wee spot, second time visiting. If you are going to Wales from Scotland you really should be stopping here. Lots of parking which is free and reasonably priced food and drink. Staff are warm and welcoming with clean facilities.
Saved our lives during the hottest day ever in the UK: I think it was 38°C. Very friendly staff were happy for us to rest out of the heat for 3 hours! We enjoyed jugs of water, a fine soup of the day and a tasty houmous and beetroot sandwich.
Stopped in for a light lunch and tea☕. Good meal and friendly staff. Service was quite quick. Easy to park nearby.
Not a great deal of choice. The sandwiches we chose were served on very thick bread, fresh but too thick for our liking. The thick chips were very thick too.
A great place for breakfast, lunch, and cakes. Food is excellent: good choice and superior quality. Service is friendly and efficient. Good parking and easily accessible from Samlesbury Hall.
Amazing place lovely decor Wheelchair and dog friendly Only a small menu but the food was delicious. Will definitely go back
The house was closed so afternoon tea called on a wet afternoon Five elderly friends enjoyed sandwiches cake and teas and coffees. The service from the two young ladies was impeccable. Polite smiley helpful and prompt. Thank you. Nice layout soft sofas and cushions as well as tables and chairs. Roug
First time here really liked it, only thing was cold sitting there. But other than that everything else was delightful.
Fantastic full English breakfast; the person who served us was lovely and provided some water for our dogs too. Very impressed with service and the breakfast was perfection.
Had Easter Sunday lunch !! Was lovely , beef , onion and mushroom ciabatta bread and thick chips! 😋 Staff were hard workers and warm and friendly! They should have double money for giving up their Easter!!!! 👍
We really love our breakfasts here. Nothing is too much trouble and the food is great 👍
It's a gorgeous place, gorgeous food and generally good service. A real pleasure to go there!
