Called in for lunch with my daughter, the restaurant is beautiful and immaculate..staff are attentive and don't hassle you. We chose lasagne , halloumi fries, fish finger baguette and hand cut chips. I totally forgot the portion sizes here are huge!!! The food was delicious, best garlic bread ever apparently and all home cooked which is a total win. Just go eat there... It's grand as owt.

Just had Sunday lunch. Excellent food and service. Very dog friendly. Dogs allowed in the bar area. Nothing to much trouble made to feel welcome. Portion sizes enormous. Will give you a mention on my dog blog. #teddystouringtales

This pub at the time of writing is closed Monday and Tuesday, it is a lovely place with a lounge, bar and restaurant. The manager was really nice and helpful. The waiting staff were very attentive The menu had a good choice and caters to vegetarian and gluten-free options. Starters were excellent, and the main courses were very tasty (compliments to the chef) I would recommend this place. They have chalets to let at reasonable prices. Ideal for walking or cycling holiday. Preston is not far away. Blackpool is around 30 minutes away, too.

What a lovely place, absolutely fabulous room, immaculate and really big. My wife and I stayed overnight here, we could've stayed a week here no problem, plenty of room and a real comfy bed. We also had an evening meal, absolutely brilliant, cracking food and really nice & friendly staff, we also had breakfast, again absolutely brilliant and the lady who served and looked after us was really nice and friendly. An overall brilliant experience, recommend to anyone BRILLIANT!!!!

I would have given 5 stars if only all 4 mains had been served at the same time , having said that , there was only a few minutes delay with 2 . Friendly, helpful staff and it's a beautiful place. Try the pies , we're told the chef trained as a pastry chef. I had steak and ale pie and it was delicious, full of tender meat and lovely thin pastry 😀

Hard to find without SatNav but well worth the effort. We were in a party of eight but, despite arriving 20 minutes late, the food was served to everyone simultaneously. Excellent food with generous portions. We intended to have coffee but no-one came to take the order so we left without having it. Battered whitebait was a bit weird but the duck was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Would be happy to eat there again now that we have a better idea of where it is.

Most enjoyable lunch, our party tried the lamb shank and sausage casserole dishes, delicious. Worth the wait to get hot, well cooked food. The 2 cask ales on offer (Lancaster Blonde, Settle Mainline Bitter) were in good form. Ample car parking, well worth the visit.

These guys are just fabulous! We came on Fathers day for the first time and wasn't disappointed. One of our children is so fussy with food and they went above and beyond to cater for him. All the staff were very friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere. The food was divine xx

What a find we had gone for a drive and came across this hidden gem. we called in for a drink and we were met with such friendly but professional staff my wife ordered a prawn sandwich with chips (which were so tasty ) the food was very well presented and extremely flavoursome. We had a walk around the bar and restaurant which in my opinion was one of the cleanest places I have visited I will post an update on the Crosskeys by next week as we were so impressed we booked a table for next Saturday from what I have seen so far I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment

Great choice of beers and other drinks We had thoroughly relaxed time with family for a visit with parents. Will definitely visit again.

35 years since I first visited the Cross Keys and wow how it has changed. Lovely setting, staff, food (had a BLT and Chicken salad) & atmosphere and with it being dog friendly (in the bar) I will be visiting again.

Love this place. The staff are warm and welcoming, the food is great and there's usually an ale/IPA on draft that's right up my street. My friends are getting married here next month and I can't wait!
