Popped in whilst working in the area, ordered the Lite Bite fish, chips and curry sauce, £4.50, great value and the food was delicious, chips are some of the nicest I've had in a long while, the fish was a good size and spicy curry sauce complimented it well.

Best fish and chips I've had in years. Chips were crispy and fluffy and the batter on the fish was light and crispy
This is our go to chippy, the fish is huge its like free willy on your plate and cheaper than most places. All portion sizes are fab. Great food great prices great staff ill never go anywhere else.
Absolutely loved tea tonight!! It was so fresh and tasty! We had the mushy pea fritters, hash browns, onion rings, chips and the curry sauces. It all went down a treat! My recommendation is mushy pea fritters with curry sauce on top... Amazing! Great, friendly service too!
This is one place that has maintained food quality and portion size over the years.
They've not cheaped out by reducing the food quality or reducing the portions to keep up with the inflation and as expected, increased prices fairly.

Visited tonight. I am very satisfied. Although I must mention, I walked in, granted the shop was full at the time, but 3 to 4 minutes later another gent walked in and was served before me. Lovely food. Had the pollock which was delish. Chips were very nice and fluffy and soft which I love. Only criticism is the mushy peas aren't mushy peas they are processed peas which don't really work
Really enjoyed tea from the contented sole tonight. Our local chippy had a dip, so drive a bit further and always wanted to try here - wasn't disappointed. Nice fish, plenty of chips - had 3 large chips for a family of 4 but ended up not using 1.
Great chippy but I wish it was open more often
I have just started using this chippy and can hand on heart say they are the best chips I have ever had from a chippy. Double cooked chips!!! I love a chippy so I know what I am talking about. I wont be going anywhere else from now on.
