Popped in for a bite to eat on the way back to Blackpool with the fella. What a lovely place, nice warm cosy atmosphere.
Staff were lovely and personable we had a good giggle with Tash who was serving us. Wonderful lady absolute credit to the place.
Starters we shared the Stilton and garlic button mushrooms, very tasty, nicely presented. Just the right balance of stilton .. not to overpowering but you knew it was there.
Mains I had the Roast duo and you could choose from beef, chicken and pork, I went for the chicken and pork combo. I have to say it is one of the best Sunday dinners I have had out. The chicken was lovely and moist just dropped off the bone, and the pork was so tender it just melted. It was refreshing as well to have what seemed to be proper mash from fresh it tasted amazing.
The fella had the Mushroom bourguignon pie, the pastry was lovely and melted in the mouth, the sauce the mushrooms were in was rich and full of flavor. He really enjoyed it.
Empty plates all round. Fab food, lovely environment, glad we stopped. Will be back again in the near future

Absolutely wonderful staff, went out of the way to help me with my gluten free vegan meal! Also my husband's burger was apparently lush too. Thank you all
What a fabulous lunch we had today ! Sat in a prime people watching position in the window enjoying The Coach and Horses version of Southern Fried Chicken Strip Platter with Gravy I Better than a well known brand . My friend had the Potato and Leek Soup and she said it was the best she had ever tasted. A fabulous warm friendly welcome in an immaculate pub with Very Very Good Food !! I will be back !!
We went for a drink on Friday. I had lunch and the food was brilliant. As the barmaid told us, “cooked from fresh” and it showed. 100% quality.
The barmaid was fantastic, friendly, funny and a credit to the Coach and Horses.
Recommended.
Absolutely fantastic meal once again, great value, good food and superp service as always
Lovely village pub, and friendly host to the ladies who lunched! Delicious. Comfortable surroundings and made to feel very welcome.
Great food, great service and very reasonably priced. Would recommend the steak and kidney pud. The better half had steak sani and raved about it. Will be going again.
Really enjoyed, staff polite must point out 1 staff member, giggles (Abbie) loves the sun bed, but you would never know this, really good banter very clean, will be back again, need to stock some Newcastle brown ale.
Just had a lovely Roast Dinner, the beef was tender, plenty of vegetables, yorkshire pudding and yummy roast potatoes. The place is kept very clean, and the service prompt and courteous. The meal was reasonably priced. You got plenty. Would highly recommend it.
Excellent service and the food was amazing
Thankyou we will be back
We didn't have food but it's a nice and friendly pub
Great place to have a meet-up, and the staff are great food fantastic
Went on a Monday for the quiz, had food, arrived quickly, was very tasty, staff are friendly.
Decent establishment to go to for the main meal of the day or for something lighter. Staff are very friendly and the food is most enjoyable. Nog too badly priced that it hurts your wallet. Nice comfortable surroundings to relax in.
