Me and my daughter had a great lunch here this week, highly recommend! The Super, Mega Turbo Burger was a challenge, but very tasty indeed. My daughter had a pizza, which was, in her words 'fabulous'. The best part was the Sticky Toffee Pudding!!! 🤤🤤🤤
First time here. Decent selection of beers and better selection of bar snacks than most pubs.
Had such a relaxing pint today, will definitely start going regularly. We sat in comfy chairs by the crackling fire and it was super cosy. The two young ladies on the bar were really lovely.
Visited this lovely small country pub in the middle of nowhere today service was fantastic. We had a three course meal which was amazing. Well presented tasted great nice and hot didn't have to wait too long. Atmosphere was nice and chilled.
Very nice place, me and the good lady both had a Sunday roast, mine beef, hers chicken. Very tasty and good value. Washed down with a good pint of larger. Finally a sponge and custard to finish off. Not bad at all.
Just been here for a family meal. Absolutely brilliant. Food was outstanding. Service excellent. Manager so helpful. Made sure everything was up to our expectations and he made us so welcome. Would definitely be going back.
Food was very good. Couldn't fault it and there was plenty of things I wanted to try. Service was lacking somewhat (young/inexperienced waiting on staff) but the landlord was quick to rectify any issues. he was also very obliging and friendly. I would definitely eat here again.
I am not the easiest person to please or impress when it comes to my food or the service provided. I have just had a meal at the sitting Goose with the new management team and Chef. The food is in my view the best food I have tasted in a long time, they have some of the best food I have tasted from
We were struggling to find somewhere for lunch and happened along The Sitting Goose, not exactly our neck of the woods but we will be returning! We decided on the Christmas lunch and we weren’t disappointed, the food was delicious and plentiful and just to top it all off the staff were lovely too.
At first we thought it was closed, but tried it anyway. We found it very cosy with a log fire. They had a good selection of gins. I found out yesterday a new gin to add to my gin bar. The staff were really nice and pleasant. Food looked very nice also...
Fabulous takeaway pizza and garlic bread for my birthday celebration. Hot,tasty and with generous toppings. And fantastic homemade chips- a real feast. Thank you for super service.
After a day marshalling for the Manchester to Blackpool charity bike ride, its was welcome respite from the hot, but windy day, very friendly and beautiful surroundings
Had a 30th birthday party here and what can I say. The food was there as quick as you could imagine. It was red hot. And was all home made. And you could tell. It was amazing. Not pub food at all. Really really good. Would give 10 stars. Will definitely go again
Delicious home cooked food. Lovely place for a Sunday dinner. Very reasonably priced. Children's meals much better quality than in other pubs and cheaper too.
