Not sure how to review them but I am a very regular customer especially for their clothes, home/furniture and bedroom stuff, food especially their fresh fruits and vegetables. Marks and Spencers are known to be expensive and a place for posh people but you get what you pay for. I still have clothes I bought from them 8 years ago. Duvets, beddings, mirrors, bed sheets, etc ‘zs
Nice clean toilets (although not a big fan of the toilet roll dispensers, I need more than one sheet at a time please!)
I believe they also sell clothes here
My big thank you to the indian lady for great service 2 min to store was closed. M&S should be proud to have such great people in the team
Got some jeans ( good choice of colours and styles ) and visited the café. All good !
The supermarket is excellent and the Cafe is my favourite place there. Quiet, friendly staff and reasonable prices with quality coffees. I love its atmosphere and the natural light. Highly recommended especially on sunny days when you can enjoy your morning coffee more.
They don't seem to mind terribly when you pelt in at 5 to 6 panic buying party food.
Lovely staff every time 🤣
Visited m&s today for bra fitting service .I also took my elderly aunt with me .we both had an appt .we were greeted by Rosalind who made my anty feel at ease right away . Nothing was too much trouble for her we cannot thank her and her colleague enough .
Cross one time I visited there was only 1 cashier available and long queue.
I will not use the self service machines. Out of principal and they often need an actual member of staff to correct something
Arriving at the store at 8am was a bit early for me but when the missus needs a bottle of gin I have to get it. From the moment the doors were open the staff were extremely polite and happy. I walked straight to the food hall and spoke to a staff member and wish I had got her name but she was lovely and extremely helpful. After explaining the reason for my visit the staff member went off into the back to check the delivery which had just come in. Unfortunately it was a no they didn't have any. she then advised what she was working over the next couple of days and took my number to contact me should they get any in. On leaving two more staff asked how I had got on and then suggested the food hall at Deepdale Retail Park, I did ask if they could find out and they advised the staff in the food hall could. So I went back to the food hall and spoke to a manager who requested another staff member to ring the other store. Whilst the staff member was speaking to the store at Deepdale the first staff member I spoke must have been on a mission and she appeared at the bottom of an isle and gestured me to come over. I went and I don't know how but she had found a bottle of the much sort after gin. The staff had all gone above and beyond and could have quite easily left it. I would fully recommend this store to visit. I would also like to say to the bosses of Marks and Spencer's you have great staff at your Preston Store and they are a credit to the brand.
Thank you again to the staff who were working on the 05/12/2020
M&S food generally the highest quality available to buy in supermarkets but the price reflects that. However customers who obtain such good food at sizable reduction on last day of sale time should be smiling. They also sell some nice clothes at reasonable prices. The shop does not seem to get that busy despite Fishergate always being crowded but that appears the same story with all the shops.
Nice big store with plenty of choice for men and women. Like most high Street stores, there's less aimed at bigger and taller, but generally you can find the size you need on their website.
Food section here is pretty good too, worth a visit if you're a fan of M&S edibles.
