Went to the Sherwood for lunch and found a good menu with some good options for lunch. Prices were good and we opted for a couple of small mac'n'cheese bowls served with a garlic bread slice followed by fruit crumble with ice cream and custard.

Amazing food. The classic hot dog was delicious. A lovely refreshing pint of Coors to wash it down with as well. The staff were filled with joy and made the visit very memorable. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to a friend

Kim was a very welcoming manager, she served me at the bar and brought me my mixed grill over which was superb. She also asked if I was enjoying my meal
Went with my son and grandson for dinner, the food was good and at a reasonable price. Kim and the staff are really nice and make you feel welcome. This is a family friendly pub and a nice place to go for a meal

This is your regular community pub done well. In the middle of a housing estate so it obviously tries to be all things to all people - the kids and families, the diners, the sports fans, the hardened drinkers - but generally it succeeds. Friendly bar staff and a genuine "local" feel.
Car parking is good (space and charge point for EV, S).
A good choice of pub food and when arrived the sizzling menu was exactly what it said, our table was clean with a reserved notice, due to us pre booking, essential on say mothers, father's or special occasions.
I had my sons Alex's ibox party here today. Wonderful staff and they could not do enough for the kids. Brilliant atmosphere and would recommend this place to anyone. Thankyou guys
We go to this pub every week. The food is amazing, the staff are fabulous and welcoming. The prices are so reasonable, and we would definitely recommend this venue. Great service by Kim & Kate
5 stars for customer service. Kim goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy. Standard pub grub but always served with a smile. As far as locals go, it’s great.
