NICE GOLF CLUB Was in the area, decided to Google the nearest driving range and the sat-nav took me to this place. Only used the range, but the course itself looks very nice here. The driving range (whilst small) seems very well constructed. Plenty of targets to aim for and there's not much more that you could want. But the best part about this place is the people! I couldn't find the pro-shop to buy the tokens for the machine, and a nice gentleman kindly walked me there. Turns out he was the Director (thank you kind sir!). Everyone in the range was very friendly and you could talk and banter in between shots. Very friendly place, will definitely be back to practice here again and would love to play an actual game here one day.

Enjoyed a Golden wedding celebration supper in the main hall of the golf club. The buffet food served was of top quality and enjoyed by a party of 40 people.

I played Ashton & Lea for the first time last week and I was very impressed. The course is a par 71 and measures 6359 yards from the white tees. It is a fairly flat course, but there are a few challenging holes, such as the 6th hole, which is a par-3 over water. The greens are large and undulating, which makes for a challenging putting experience. The staff at Ashton & Lea was very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the course and they were very accommodating when I asked for a few tips. The clubhouse is a great place to relax after a round of golf. There is a bar, a restaurant, and a pro shop. Overall, I had a great experience at Ashton & Lea Golf Club. The course is challenging and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the clubhouse is a great place to relax after a round of golf. I would definitely recommend Ashton & Lea to anyone looking for a great place to play golf in Lancashire.

Played Ashton & Lea with a couple of friends on Thursday 16th September 22. I live in Milton Keynes and a member at Collingtree Park Golf Club, Northampton. The Ashton and Lea course is in fantastic condition, a great course to play. The facilities are excellent with a golf range a putting green and a short game area. The food and service is great with smiling friendly staff ( Tracy in particular) she made my tea for my journey home outstanding. The guy in the pro shop brilliant and helpful. A fantastic well established golf course with great facilities friendly members and good food. I will definitely visit again when in the area. A great day and thank you for making us feel welcome.

Been a member for 20+ years. Course is currently in the best condition it has been in since I joined. Its trickier than you think!! Some very interesting holes. If you can get through the front 9 you should be on for a good round. Wouldn't recommend the food but, can't beat a pint in the bar after.

I played a two ball last week and can honestly say it's one of the best course I have played. The course was in fantastic condition and so picturesque. The main thing I noticed were the members, everyone said hello, how are you etc. The 4 ball behind us stopped to ask what we thought about the course and we had a good laugh. The members really do the club a good service. For £30 greennfee I will definitely be back.
