It's a beautiful restaurant, with original glass stains from 1932. Great customer service. Delicious food at a good price. When you go there, say hello to Gail:)
I came very early this time; pre-9am. They were open but only just. I had tea and a bacon barm. No complaints about either. The bacon barm was delicious and highly recommended and the tea was Twinnings, so quite acceptable. When I normally attend the place is packed and vibrant, do bear in mind the photo are not representative of the normal atmosphere. Brucciani's is a Preston institution. I remember coming here as a child over 50 years ago. It has changed somewhat since then; bigger, with more interesting decor and far less smoky! For years they've had an array of hundreds of photos of famous folk on the walls and it is great to walk around and try your luck! This place harks back to a bygone time before McDs, Café Nero, Starbucks & Costa. A far better experience in my opinion. Long may it remain. They still sell hot vimto and ice cream drinks. Bring the kids. Give them a true & delicious taste of the past. Make some memories.
Favourite cafe in Preston! Used to come here as a child with my grandma! The decor is beautiful and takes you back in time! The food is lovely and the staff are so nice. My daughter loves it here and definitely recommends the milkshakes!
This authentic Caffe has left the best impressions! Delicious dishes, nice presentation, A good selection of food and wonderful dessert. The owner is a bit grumpy but apart from that , I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again! I give you my 5 stars!
We popped in for some food ,ended up with the full English breakfast and couldn't resist the cakes afterwards ,the banofee pie was to die for . What impressed us also was that they cooked a sausage free of charge for our dog 🐕 we were all very happy ! great quality food and the staff were so friendly and VERY dog friendly, a win win for us all 😄
A beautiful old glory proper cafe. I fell in love with the decor, huge chandelier, marble tables and leather chairs. Despite the old style, the place is Clean and well maintained. Helpful staff and family friendly. Food is good and prices are fair.
Like so many eating places in city centres, Brucciani's has to compete with others and because of this, has lost most of its charm. I used to visit Brucciani's both in Preston and Wigan more than 30 years ago. It had an atmosphere and charm to it and one would be instantly transported to a time when having a coffee was a full sensory experience, with 30's band music playing and the staff were dressed in coffee house attire. Now it's just another cafe. The food and service was adequate. That was it. Adequate. I suppose I'm just nostalgic for another time long ago, pre covid and pre Brexit. Neither of which have done the hospitality trade any good whatsoever.
Oldest surviving cafe in Preston, with a deco styled interior. Coffee is ok but worth visiting for the malted coffee especially
Good selection of cakes and cooked food served here is generally decent
The atmosphere and staff were so welcoming, and the food and drink was wonderful. The place was unforgettable.
A fairly good experience enhanced by the ambience of the place. Scone and coffee was fine though the Greek salad was the biggest Greek salad I’d ever had plus, the staff were fairly cheerful and friendly.
Love this place so much. Dog friendly too! Food is lovely, great vibes. Lovely old music. Amazing cakes!
Place is lovely, but don't get the bottles of cherry cola or dandelion and burdock there a bit yucky, but the place is amazing
