Amazing staff team, nothing is too much trouble! All of the staff team's aim is to make the stay as comfortable as possible and they certainly deliver a perfect service! The Scottish steak house is a fantastic place to dine at for bothe evening dinner and breakfast! Really can't express how lovely the experience that we have had is!

Can't fault it what a lovely place to stay on the way to the lakes or Scotland breakfast was first class. And the plus for us the dog's are welcome too.All the staff very nice.
I stayed at the Tickled Trout for a number of days earlier this month along with my wedding party and the whole experience was excellent.
The staff were courteous and helpful, rooms were clean and well appointed and food and drinks were great.
We had a small reception here after the wedding, the staff cordoned off an area for us in the bar and brought around some canapés - good service and tasty food!
All in all we were very comfortable and well looked after, myself and my guests thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Tickled Trout was delightful. All of the staff members were polite and helpful. The food and drink were great. The rooms and bathrooms were a bit "compact" but worked out great.
We stumbled across this jem accidentally on a last minute booking site and would highly recommend it. Lovely room, very friendly and efficient staff. This will now be our hotel of choice whenever we are staying in Preston.
Excellent accommodation, friendly helpful staff and good food! Loved the place.
