What a great idea. Why go to your average coffee shop and pretend to write that screenplay your currently working on. Come here instead and enjoy the great coffee, friendly atmosphere, and great selection of board games. Good for people of all ages. They even serve alcohol if you fancy doing something different with your friends one evening.

Great location and a lot if space for playing games. A great choice of table as they are large enough for the games on offer. Millie is excellent and makes sure her customers are looked after and has a deep knowledge of the games. Highly recommended.

Great independent coffee shop, but so much more! I am not an avid board gamer but got the opportunity to play a few games with the help of a staff member called James who was very helpful, took the hassle of working the rules out with quick explanations. We had a great afternoon and I can't wait for my next visit!

Me and my mate went in and we played star realms and pandemic for the afternoon. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. My mate said he wished they had one of these in Folkestone and was very impressed. Good selection of games. Would visit again.

Fantastic staff who love nothing more than to share their passion for boardgames with newcomers and old experienced gamers alike. The ever expanding and improving food menu compliments the great selection of hot and cold drinks on offer - there's definitely something to enjoy even if it's just a scrummy cake! The social games and event evenings add a great reason to come and meet new people and try out games you might not have seen before. I'd thouroughly recommend visiting for a coffee, cake or game of cardcassone 😊

Awesome cafe!! Fab coffee, staff and menu. They are so helpful and even welcoming to my three year old, taking the time to explain the kids games and make her a little, barely warm hot chocolate which she loved!! It's so great that Preston has something as cool as this, we have been lacking good, independent coffee shops. We'll be back!

Glad to have helped kick-start this venue, never been disappointed. The team were even willing to help out as a last minute reception venue for my daughter's christening when others let us down. Looking forward to more visits yet to come!

Fantastic idea, and a fun place to visit. The staff are very welcoming, and they know their stuff when it comes to playing the games. They really help you out, and encourage you to try out something new. It would be good to go with a large group, and play a game that lasts a while, but to go as a pair, and and play some two player games is good also. This is a startup business, and the premises are perhaps a little basic, but that isn't what this is about. I prefer it being about the atmosphere than swish surroundings. I sat near the door, and a cold draught blew in whenever somebody came in. An inner door would be good to avoid the impromptu game of draughts. I had a panini and a hot chocolate. Nice, but could have been a bit hotter to be honest. The toilet lights have energy saving lamps in, and take a while to reach full brightness, leaving you in the dark a bit. LED lamps would be better. Glad to see they are saving energy with PIR controlled lighting. I bet it is a really good atmosphere on a busy day, or at one of the gamers days. Brilliant fun, and a very welcoming place to be. Well done. Will definitely be visiting again.

What a great place to hangout play some class A board games and meet some like minded people. This is a place for those who love tabletop games. All is welcome, it not your average coffee shop.
