First time we have been in and I thought the service was 1st class, both at the bar and from the waiter/waitress service, the menu and meal was of a high standard, I would recommend going there to anyone!
One of my favourite places to eat! Lovely decorated, lovely atmosphere and always great food. The staff are very polite, especially our server yesterday (I've forgotten his name, sorry!) who kindly went out of his way to make our experience a good one! And is a very good photographer!�
We called in for dinner after a trip out for the day ... lovely interior ,and pleasant service, and excellent food...i recommend !
Steak was cooked to perfection without much waiting time.... friendly staff and decent beer at a good price... what more could you want... well I want to go back and try that cowboy burger. ... and I shall......... recommended
Second time I've eaten here , with my Wife a regular visitor with her friends there has never been any disappointment.
Never been before. I had steak and salad. Steak cooked how I like it. Gave into the apple pie even though I was trying to be good. Will def go back. X
My husband and I eat here regularly. We have always enjoyed excellent service from some lovely staff, waitress and bar staff!! For always of excellent quality, concidering the price of dishes. My husband tells me the selections of beers is very good. I hope they extend the seclection of Gins, served then would score a perfect 10 x
Lovely food, can recommend the chicken burger! Place is lovely and clean, the team are welcoming, you can sit and have a conversation without music being deafening and they are dog friendly!! Would highly recommend the brown hare and the team to anyone

Been here once before and was served by a very kind lady (sadly i didn't catch her name) but the service was great, she was very kind and had no problems with our requests. Today we were served by Luke who is a kind and remarkable young man who also provided an excellent level of care. Everything was covered regarding our needs like Sauce etc and Luke had no problem with completing these requests. All staff are very kind and welcoming. Definitely going to visit again👌

We usually only have a couple of drinks in the evening, it’s always pleasant and good service. There’s been a marked improvement in the cleanliness of the tables and service since as of late. This time we were looking around the area to have food, and all the recent reviews were very favourable. Having been in 2 nights previously just for drinks and seeing how busy it was for food we thought it’s a good place to go. Booking was effortless, the service we received was superb, very knowledgeable on taking our orders as one of our party was gluten free. Great food, great service.
Luke was very welcoming.. we arrived just as they were closing the food. Absolutely no problem.. Adam dished up the most exquisite fish and chips.. delightful.. and delicious.. great service from the team.. we will cone again..
We had a family meal here and really loved the food. Everything was presented beautifully and the taste was amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive and the whole place had a very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely come back again.
Decided to visit the pub as I worked there 8 years ago. Nice to see that the pub is still going strong through new leadership. Fast and friendly service with a lovely outdoors area. The pub itself looks fantastic, the refurbishment of the pub must have been done recently. The food itself was well presented and great portion size. I had the cheese and bacon burger, whilst my grandmother had a 'feel good' salad. She said that it was one of the best salads from a pub that she's had. Definitely will return in the future.
Nice food nice surroundings and very helpful staff, It can get pricey when adding in costs of drinks but worth it for a treat

Monday evening. Not busy so plenty of options on where to sit. Couple of disabled bays outside and level entrance into the establishment. Can imagine the car park gets full at weekends.
For drinks ordered a pint of Estrella lager at £5.65 and a 250ml glass of red wine. This was the cheapest on the menu at £6.25 which is reasonable and certainly cheaper that many places we have visited recently.
Ordered a mixed grill and chicken and beef duo. I had the mixed grill. Don't normally expect much in the way of steak when you get a mixed grill but the piece of rump I had was really tender and cooked right for me as I like mine rare. The lamb chop, although small, was also very tender and tasty. Initially I didn't think there was that much on the plate but by the end of it I was full. My brother enjoyed his particularly the beef, the mash and the gravy that came with it.
Service was friendly and efficient.
We had a voucher downloaded to our phone giving 30% off mains. So total for the bill including 2 drinks was £35.00. Very reasonable. At those prices I have no issues in recommending the Brown Hare. But unlikely to visit again as we were only in the area to pick up an online purchase.
Sacha and his staff were very attentive - it was a mid-week lunchtime, quiet, so we received great service. The food was good - usual pub fare, but nicely served and good value for money. Thank you Sacha.
The overall experience was extremely positive. From being greeted and seated by your friendly staff to the Swift service of the drinks and food . The meals were beautifully cooked and presented and offered great value for money . We will definitely be coming back in the future and I won’t hesitate in recommending you to friends and family. Our experience was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful (my daughter has a nut allergy) and they explained thoroughly how to filter the online menu based on her allergy so that she could chose an appropriate meal. The staff ensured she had new cutlery and the area she was sitting in was thoroughly wiped down to ensure that there was no cross contamination. I have never had service liked this anywhere else. Would highly recommend the Brown Hare.
Fabulous pub. We come every Wednesday for quiz night and we really enjoy it. Hannah and luke are one of the best hosts we have ever met. They always there when we need them and can always have a laugh. I highly recommend the brown hare!
I just wanted to say that Vicky and I popped in for tea on Sunday about 530 and had an amazing experience. Your waiting and bar staff were fantastic. Very attentive, bubbly and professional. The food was excellent too and my fiancée enjoyed her Vegan kebab. It’s often very difficult to please her as many menus have a very sparse vegan choice. Maybe a vegan option as a special now and then may get us in more as you could do with a couple more vegan options or she has to have the same thing after a couple of visits. We have been coming to the Brown Hare for years but I don’t know what you have done recently but it was a really fresh and different experience. Your team are the main reason for this I am sure. Wonderful as always, I had the feel good chicken salad, it was absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, and whatever dish you choose is always lovely.
Great food, friendly staff and has a dog friendly area. Reasonably priced food and a good selection of meals. Provided a small blanket, bowl of treats and a bottle of water for the dog. Liked it so much we went two evenings running.
Stopped here on the off chance as often drive past on way to work. And very pleased we did. Great staff , cracking food, clean pub and all round cracking experience. Highly recommended
