This was a fantastic pub to go for a drink at, with a classic design including book shelves at the walls! The counter is well-presented, staff were friendly and I enjoyed a bottle of Sol. Seating is comfortable, cleanliness had been maintained and it has a large area!

What can I say that hasn't been said by others? It the most popular place for a great selection of food and drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) . Tea, coffee and hot chocolate (free refills). There is nothing bad that can said about the friars, others strive, the friars achieves. Well done to managers and all the staff. A very safe night out.

A meet up with our cousin who is here from Brisbane on a short visit. The round table was great as we could all talk easily. There were only 8 of us but hopefully we can meet again before she goes back. Atmosphere good, comfortable seating, friendly staff etc. Many thanks from us all. Frankie Kennedy.

Lovely to see the Steak & Kidney back on the menu. (& the bangers-&- mash w peas & gravy). I saw it & just had to try it!! It is as nice as I'd rembered. I had it with chips & they were perfectly cooked! Though on a personal note didn't like the Kombacha Raspberry Lemonade at all, but that is a personal preference & I'm pleased the soft drink menu is as extensive as it is.

Great place and easy access. was very busy as it was Saturday and there was a lot going on in Preston we didn't have to wait too long to get service all through they didn't tell us about the waiting time for food.👍

Always half decent place to eat. Priced very keen and generally most dishes are good

Food good, staff friendly, but tables not cleared away meaning eating and drinking surrounded by previous occupants glasses and food remains. Therefore 1 star removed

Lovely place, middle of town. Well handy, and buses stop outside. Would recommend to anyone 😁

Massive roast portion! Got the large 2 for 1 deal on a Monday so it worked out as £4.50 each. Nice meal, though I'm guessing they didn't include beef so it was cheaper (there was only pork and turkey). Save yourself some time on a Sunday and just go here

Typical Wetherspoon pub and eatery. Food from standard Wetherspoon menu but good choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and other allergies. Prices, including beers and wines, are inexpensive. We had 2 mains and a bottle of red wine for £20. This is a big place with lots of booths, tables and space. Friendly staff although clear away service is a bit slow. Would visit again if in the centre of Preston.

Came here purely to have a nice relaxing drink after a long day around Preston & enjoyed the Real Ales on tap. I've been to this Wetherspoon's before & is by far, better than the other one in Preston.

This is an excellent place to have some good food and drinks with a mesmerising sunset view. Just beside waters, it is also very close to the pleasure beach. The food was delicious and the staffs were friendly. It was easy to order the food using an app and the price was reasonable considering the beautiful view it offered. This place is absolutely recommended.
