Welcomed by friendly staff , restaurant was clean. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food isn’t bad just a tad plain , it’s typical pub grub. Good for a quick bite Plenty of parking outside Wheelchair accessible
Great pub with an excellent menu, my one and only gripe is that we called in for lunch this week and it was wet, windy and cold outside but no form of heating inside. This, in my opinion is a problem. I’m fully aware that the cost of heating is high at the moment but this would put some people off.
pleasantly welcomed, seated by polite staff, orders for drinks and food taken, delivered promptly, enjoyed the quiet Monday afternoon environment, enjoyed the food, made a pleasant rest stop before driving home after a good day out.
Absolutely lovely meals. It was our first time here, my daughter lives near and suggested it. Wasn't dissapointed with the meals we all enjoyed them. I had the large roast dinner and one of my daughter's did, it was so tasty the beef was lovely. Very colourful plate as there was Savoy cabbage and ca
Great staff, food better quality than a lot of pub chains more homemade rather than out of a packet from a cash and carry or central kitchen. Will return. Second visit for Sunday lunch 5 in the party and all really enjoyed the food and good comments about the staff. Great value and will return. Reco
Food was lovely, and even though the staff was all busy service was as prompt as possible. Great place 👌
Fantastic place... nothing bad to say about the kingfisher. Worth a visit ...food is fabulous, the place itself is extremely nice and the staff are excellent. *Update* came back a couple of weeks later and I'm still as impressed as I was initially. I love the attention to detail and that's what make
The kingfisher is definitely worth a visit! The servers are friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and home cooked and the portions are generous!
Lovely staff, great food and pleasant atmosphere. We had a pet dog with us and she was also very nicely looked after. There were quite a few families there who were all having a great time.
First visit for some time and what a difference! From the welcome to to food to the departure. Excellent all round. A great place. Thoroughly recommended.
As pubs go, it's above average. Good menu although the service was lackluster at best. The overall environment felt crowded and not ideal for a romantic meal out. Excellent for families with kids.
Amazing food! Had the lamb kofta and it was delicious. Staff very friendly and a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Would recommend.
