I'm editing my review from last year because I've just been in to get fish and chips for the first time since that review and it looks like the place has had an overhaul. I'm just eating fish chips peas and curry sauce now and it's absolutely beautiful 👍👍👍
Godwin's used to be the best place around
I go here infrequently but the food has taken a recent rise in quality. Chips are first class. I think the addition of the chip van on Kingsfold drive and it's utterly tasteless chips has made them up the game here. They're friendly the food is good it's accessible what else do you want it's a chipp
Always rate this chippy highly. Now have to order on entry most items, but it speeds up service and the portion sizes are large. One of the better chippers in the area.

Great chippy. Ticks all my boxes. Tasty lightly battery fresh fish, chips are not too soggy. Curry sauce was abit runny but you can't get everything
