What a wonderful country pub! Staff were super friendly. The landlord graciously let us stay over night in our car camper in their car park (£5 per night). Very large carpark, with level ground. To the back of the pub is a farmers field, that acted as a perfect backdrop for observing the bats in the area. We unfortunately didn’t get to try the food; as we had to leave early, however we will definitely be back! I would recommend giving the pub a call with a few days notice, to ask if parking would be available overnight for your trip.

Really nice pub food. Decent size portion and cooked well. Not my first visit and won't be my last

Popped in on our way home during our bike ride. The pub looks nice and clean and they served food until 3pm. Children are welcome and the garden is huge for children to play in safely. They had a bouncy castle up for the children. They also have cloning frames and swings. Great to keep the children happy. Bar staff were very nice any friendly. We didn’t eat here hence I didn’t give it 5 stars. But the food on the menu looked reasonable priced.

Great service and great food! The interior could do with a makeover though, very old wobbly tables and upholstery. Otherwise a great experience!

Went with a friend for lunch. She had the chilli con carne and I had a ham salad with a side of chips. It was excellent. Three drinks too. With a decent tip it still only came to £25. The decor is lovely and the service was great. Definitely going again.

Really good food and reasonably priced. Nice ambiance, friendly staff and they do a mixed grill - a bit of a rarity these days. Our first visit since the relaunch - and definitely not our last!

Great atmosphere, welcoming hosts, lovely home made food and plenty of it. Best pub lunches in Preston by far .

Great food, Christmas day, very friendly, great atmosphere. There was leftover's dinner on our plates, so I asked if they could put into a doggy bag, the owner said I could take the plate and bring it back next time we was passing (I was given foil to cover)
