I had an unplanned visit here today when i got very lost on a long run, i went in to get directions and the landlady and the locals were all very helpfull and friendly. I realised at this point i was 5 miles from home, the landlady made me a drink and a man who was just leaving offered me a lift home. I was very lucky to have bumped into such a kind group of people to help me out like that and it was much appreciated. I shall be returning here at somepoint with the family for some food! What a place!
Great place, beer prices are low, and with a good selection. Yet to try the food, but it looks great!! Well worth a try!
Well where do I start mega place, great decor, great atmosphere and pleasant music. And the beer we'll get yourself down and see for yourself. Looking forward to when they serve food. To top it off the staff are so welcoming will be here sooner rather than later . Top job guys x

Every village should have a pub like this!! I'm a refugee from the Cock and Bottle which is having a refit to become???? I was trundling around on my bike and called to see what it was like!! Friendly, Excellent beers at a sensible price!I mentioned that I was checking out for a lunch stop for my mates and myself, and was given a menu to look at I said I was not looking to eat today but started looking anyway, but maybe I should have a snack??? Just a cheese and ham toasty please says I This arrived perched atop of a lovely sallad and a dollop of chips£8 ? no!! less than half of that!! I'll be back soon
This pub is just truly wonderful! All of the staff are lovely, welcoming and hardworking. The food is phenomenal, and I just love coming here!
Sat here watching the amazingly talented 15 year old Connor Banks. Star not only now but in the future. Really good village pub. Think I'm Gona move!

We were travelling through from Bristol and stopped for a quick lunch. We got an amazing welcome. The pub is done up beautifully and is exceptionally clean. I can honestly say that my 7 year old son was treated like royalty. He was particularly taken by the food. Everything is home made and the pies are out of this world.
Came in last week and wow, lovely place and atmosphere � will defo be back x

Excellent staff. My Anty is in a care home nearby I take her in her wheelchair and the staff always look after us
Beers was ok. Pub is looking nice inside. They have a TV in there playing sport. Bar staff was friendly. They also take card and contactless.
