Good food at an excellent price. You cannot fault the portions and everything we had tasted good. Friendly staff and well worth a visit. Food served until 9pm and with specials everyday that include a drink from about £7.50 you cannot go wrong. This pub deserves to do well so go and support your local!
Called here yesterday evening on the off chance on our way home and was pleasantly surprised. All the staff were lovely and attentive and the food was lovely, good portions and hot. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly, considering some well know steak chains can't even manage that. No doubt if we're in the area we would visit again.

I should if put the only reason I dropped a star was because you didn't have the sherry trifle cheesecake and had eyed that up from the moment I'd sat down, if I could of dropped only 1/2star I would of 😃
Lunch on a Saturday. Service was a little slow waiting for food. Over 25 mins from ordering. However food was hot and tasty when it did arrive.

Had a really great time, staff were great and really attentive, the pubs itself is really clean, came in for food with a friend, the only thing is thst its abit out of the way and expensive in taxis for people who don't drive, but thsts not the pubs fault...

The staff team are super friendly and willing to help with anything, they are willing to accommodate large groups for parties and events.
The menu is a little pricier but it is a Marsdon's pub so they cannot control that, however the food is good quality and I've never had an issue with it.
There are always events going on with live music and DJs booked throughout the year. I'm looking forwards to seeing what summer events are planned.
I had a mix grill here, it was awesome and such great value for money. The pub is very clean and tidy. Staff are polite and friendly. You can definitely tell there’s a new team in this pub
We were in there on Sunday. The food was excellent the first time. I've had a Sunday roast from the pub, which was very hot. Plus there were ten of us and all the food was brillian thank you
First visit in a while following management and chef change. Very pleasantly surprised, had a lovely Sunday roast, food and service very good. Back to being our local again!

Great for our local, always had good food and service here .. very family friendly.. 3 years later still the same, Heather was amazing and worked her end off, Gary was also amazing for a random Wednesday night and being unexpectedly busy, handled the evening well, full of apologies.. great team here.
Came the other night for some food and it is lovely. The new owners and team are lovely and this place has really improved. Would recommend this pub
Really nice food and friendly staff great price aswell two of us had chicken burgers and chips and two had tuna cheese melt baguette very nice would recommend its on the afternoon menu
