After a shortish drive we entered this emporium of Christmas and garden delight. The displays were wonderful, car parking plentiful, staff really helpful and prices reasonable.
As an added bonus thete is a canal cruise on-site that offers a fish and chip supper!
Barton Grange Restaurant. Afternoon tea as a group of 9 (Inc 2 children). Service was good, friendly staff , lovely venue. The restaurant accommodates various dietary requirements with nothing being too much trouble for the chefs. Food is freshly prepared and perfectly consistent. For anyone not wan
Always a lovely visit. Great products, well set out. Wonderful Christmas shop, delicious lunch at reasonable price. Farm shop well stocked as ever. Couldn't find what I liked from the butcher's( peppered pork steaks) but after questioning he made some up for me. Excellent service!!
Always worth a trip to baton Grange. Especially when Christmas is approaching. Displays are out!
Love to visit here for lunch when we come over to visit our elderly. Food absolutely beautiful-my favourites- salmon and crayfish salad -and also tuna panini. Staff lovely, and nothing too much trouble!! Place spotless at all times too, which I find exceptional!! Love to look around, even though mer
Went to see the hand reared owls, hawks, and falcons, couldn't believe how popular it was and how many people turned out to see them. So glad we managed to get to hold them and also get some photos. Definitely a great experience for the little one whose never done this before.
Cake was just an adde
Absolutely loved my visit to Barton Grange, where there's a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants to suit all budgets. Staff I engaged with were knowledgeable and welcoming.
Relaxed in the café with a well deserved coffee and slice of cake.
Visited 21/08/22 Still one of my favourite garden c
A great place for an afternoon out with all the family, to see their extensive Xmas lights and various Christmas exhibitions, which both young and old seemed to enjoy. Note, they are not timed, you'll need to look for a button to start the displays. This is also one of the best places in Lancashire
What is always a great and friendly experience was recently brought down by the miserable nature of one of the Honeywell butcher staff.
I'll attempt to portray how horrible an experience it was but for the first time in our lives at shopping at Barton Grange, we were genuinely tempted just to leave
We had possibly the best cooked breakfast here, I don't 'do' cooked breakfasts but this one was appetising and freshly cooked, plus a very reasonable price. The garden centre itself was also lovely & clean , an excellent place to while away some time.
A great place to while away a couple of hours. More than just a garden centre. The food served in the cafe and the restaurant is superb quality. The farm shop has a really good butchers and the cakes are second to non.
Great place to visit. Loads of selection in the main shopping area and the gardening section is extremely well cared for. Overall an eclectic mix of things to buy, including a family of life size giraffes and even a £6000 plastic grizzly bear that will completely dominate any garden 😉. The entertain
Always busy but always a pleasure. Great items for sale. Lots of Xmas stuff now.
One issue, cheese counter now all prepacked with not as much choice. Less staff.... ?
More expensive than the large cafe next to it but definitely worth the difference. The food is fresh, well presented very tasty with plenty of choices on the menu. The staff are polite and efficient and nothing is to must trouble. Perfect for lunch.
I did not take any photos of the garden centre as I thought it was just another garden . But I was so wrong. A truly stunning shop with a wide variety of garden and home decor, easy to get lost in the array of options. They had the folks from Lancaster with birds of prey from rehab programmes
Lovely garden centre with great facilities, lovely Christmas displays and a great range of garden and interior products. Great selection of Christmas trees, lights, outdoor plants. There was a Christmas yeti display which was fun for the little ones. Quite busy as we visited today (a Saturday on the
