First time we've tried this place but definitely won't be the last! The food was so fresh and so well presented, it was delicious. The team were really welcoming and friendly, although it was busy they managed perfectly. Give it a go!

Staff were fabulous too , nothing too much trouble , nice of the chef to chat with us and check all ok . All in all a great evening served by a great team

Table of 14 people and all the food came out perfectly cooked and presented. Everything was excellent quality. Only 1 star down on service as a drink was forgotten but not surprising given the number of people! Lovely place, will be returning.
Went for breakfast with a friend, first time either of us have been here but will definitely be back! Lovely friendly welcome and the food was delicious. Very good quality.
Amazing Christmas dinner cooked by Bread and Butter! Sides and mains were delicious and they even provided things sliced sprouts to cook up before serving in order to make sure everything was served as fresh as possible. Finished off with a beautiful Christmas log! Highly recommend visiting for the tapas menu as well!

I decided to go and try out the burger night at B and B and I not disappointed.
The burger was freshly made, turned up to the table piping hot and tasted simply amazing.
I went for the steak burger with cheese and bacon and it was sensational.
I also upgraded my chips to the salt and pepper option and again they were delicious.
The service was great as usual and I really enjoyed the night.
Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Today 4/5/23 I met up with an old friend I hadn’t seen for over 10 years. We could not have been to a better place than this. The English breakfast’s were outstanding, the ambiance was superb and the host Natalie was so warm and welcoming.
On behalf of both of us I can’t speak highly enough of Bread & Butter and we will definitely be back.
If you haven’t been here before it’s definitely worth a visit.

Been trying several eateries for a "proper" Sunday Lunch and this beautiful place fit the bill perfectly. Well done to the chef who delivers the most tasty food. Couldn't manage all of the scrumptious Eton Mess but gave it a good try. Definitely returning, lovely staff and spotlessly clean.

Took a family member for 60th birthday brunch celebrations. Our first visit to Bread and Butter, Penwortham; and it did not disappoint. A good selection of both breakfast and lunch meals. I chose avocado on sour bread with chilli and eggs. I added salmon as an extra. I highly recommend this dish! Very tasty and freshly prepared as were all of our meals.
Other dishes were mushrooms and melted cheese on bagel, with hash browns, accompanied with pots of red and brown sauce. The 3rd meal was Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce.
Absolutely no complaints from any of us.
The place itself is modern and spotlessly clean. The waitress was friendly and welcoming too.
Easily located, although as each of us are unfamiliar with the area, car parking was unclear.
We parked on Tesco car park opposite the restaurant, were there is 3 hour free parking available.
