Lovely place with nice food and friendly service. I ordered extra black pudding and thought the portion a bit miserable for the price, but my wife ordered extra mushrooms and got loads. We took out a couple of scones - they're huge!
Absolutely love this farm and coffee shop / restaurant in the countryside. It's quiet with some amazing produce in the shop and great food in the eating area, great service and loads of seating.
The toilet facilties are clean and there is generally sufficient parking.
Update. We went again this weekend and my wife had the "Saswick Lamb Hotpot" where she found the taste not very nice to the point that she left it almost completely uneaten. When the cashier asked it everything was OK, i mentioned my wife's disappointment with the meal - "oh shame" was the reply! Not quite what I was expecting and we eat here on a regular basis and have not had an experience like this before.
Very cosy and quaint place to have food. The food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. They have an amazing cake selection too... couldn't resist leaving without a chocolate brownie!
Man with a Van + doggy called in for Friday pie day lunch.
Dropping a delivery locally and farm shop was recommended.
Bought a quiche instead of the pie and wasn't disappointed.
Wish I was local as I'd be getting a few more pies 😀

A bit pricey for what you get and not an extensive menu really. The food was goid quality, but had to send an uncooked sausage back to the kitchen. The Donkeys steal the show.

Lovely little eatery, very friendly staff. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, locally sourced and homemade. Space to eat inside or out with views overlooking fields. Great farm shop attached where you can pick up most of your weekly shop. Plenty of parking space at the front where you can pet a donkey to keep the kids entertained!
Basic but a nice peaceful place to chill !!
Saswick is great. They've also been invaluable for the community during this covid crisis.
Cannot fault their farm shop at all, fantastic quality meat and given notice you can ask for pretty much anything at all butchered to your taste.
The café side is also excellent, good quality home cooked food, with a bit of flair.
One thing to note is that the toasted sandwiches appear to have been put on the griddle to toast on the outside, which isn't my personal preference as it is like fried bread which I'm not keen on. Not a complaint just simply a personal preference but now you are aware in case you are odd like me. I'll just be asking for them not to do that next time : )
Excellent service.. glad we went early because it started to fill quite quickly. Spoke to owner and he said best to book at weekend to be gaurentee a table. Food really good . Good value.
Great place to not only have a full English breakfast. Variety of snacks coffee and lunchoens and a superb farm shop. Everything home made local and regenial. Very friendly and helpful staff
