this was my first time going here and i would definitely return. i was unsure on what to go for but ended up choosing the bagel with egg, bacon, brie, caramelised onion and rocket. it was to die for, there was nothing i would have changed it was perfect! the portion was a great size and i left feeling full but not in a groggy way. the staff are so lovely and really helpful. the prices are fair and honestly great value for what you get. amazing place!

I returned for one of their Tapas evenings and I have to say I was impressed. Thoughtful dishes full of flavour. The asparagus and egg was just perfect.

Wow! What a great little place, really interesting menu and fairly priced. I had the ‘black pud’ served with sausages, poached eggs, bacon, black pudding and Stilton sauce. I was amazed by the quality of ingredients and presentation. It was delicious. Staff were lovely and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.
Well what can I say! We had a delicious brunch at our first but definitely not last visit to the Cow Shed. We had the portobello mushroom, halloumi, sauteed onions, poached eggs, hummus on sourdough. The coffee was fab to from a local roaster, Caldera. It was one of the best brunches we have had...and we have had a few! The cakes baked on the premises was delicious too, we had the coffee and walnut cake and the sticky toffee cake. You must all pay them a visit!!
The best place in Penwortham! Always the most delicious brunch made with great ingredients. Emma is running a brilliant place and always wows us. Favourite place to eat and drink by far.

The food was really yummy. I had the halloumi and sweet potato. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly but a bit clumsy. The toffee ice cream was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Had breakfast here this morning with two friends of mine from the Midlands and the whole experience was excellent from the service to the coffees and particularly the food. First class. I highly recommend this place.
A little gem of a discovery that my partner and I keep returning to. By far one of my favourite venues for a good lazy morning brunch or a quick stop off for coffee and cake. The food is exceptional and the staff are lovely. Well marketed on social media and good communication so I always know what's happening there in terms of special offers, updates to menus and opening times. Would recommend a visit.
First time visiting this little place and not disappointed at all, staff go the extra mile clearing the table is quick and a good vibe overall. So glad places like this exist and the food we had was above brilliant. I will be back here as now I feel i can change my coffee house of choice. If you find yourself nearby you must come here. I tip my hat to all staff and management and owners this place will be an amazing place keep the dream alive.
This place is excellent! We have never been let down by the food. LOVE that they have menu additions and changes regularly. Beautiful and creative dishes. An absolute must visit!
This place is just fantastic. Perfectly positioned and cute cow 🐄 print design. Food was amazing even my daughter loved it and she's a difficult customer to please. I had the salmon sirracha. It was superb. I always have to send poached eggs back as cold or hard boiled. These were absolutely perfect!! My new go to breakkie place. Most breakfast places I've tried taste just like I'd make at home. So what's the point? You won't be disappointed
