We celebrated my daughters 18th birthday here on Saturday a party of 18 including 3 young boys - as my daughter has ASD and the restaurant was very busy/noisy with lots of other celebrations taking place it could have been a disaster but the staff went out of their way to make sure she was served first, the cake was bought out with no fuss and the meals were all fabulous, sometimes the drinks service was a bit slow but that was perfectly understandable given how busy it was - thank you to all the staff for making Megan’s evening so fabulous you all deserve a star especially the young girl who served the desserts and Megan’s friend the waiter from when we have previously visited xx ������

Always love coming to San Marco. Delish food nothing too much trouble chefs will change something if don’t like on menu ie. Mushroom Risotto I hate mushrooms changed to chicken and asparagus.👌 Staff friendly and great ambiance’s to the place. Loving their Xmas decorations. Stunning

Fabulous night tonight celebrating my very special daughters 17th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Staff warm and welcoming and even used her sign language. Just the best.

I mentioned that is was my sons birthday, they very kindly put balloons on our table, made a fuss of him then sang happy birthday as they brought him a cake out!
Fabulous meal for my neices birthday! Service was great, extra drinks added to out bill was soon resolved by the lovely lady on the till.. its our 4th or 5th visit here, definitely recommend, new play area in the back for the little ones too, kept them very entertained

Driven by many times, but never previously eaten here, despite the car park often being tellingly full.
Very modest-looking from the outside, and on entering, the modern, sparkly-clean decor is a genuine surprise, as are the large interior spaces.
Warmly greeted by the hostess, the place was buzzing at 6pm on a Saturday evening, with scarcely an empty table and lots of chattering groups.
There's a busy vibe here (in a good way) that you don't encounter outside of a big city.
It's not cheap, and the portions aren't huge, but it's tasty, quality food, lovingly made and well-presented, so still represents good value.
Starters were varied, quick and tasty, pizzas were large and relatively cheap, mains and specials become pricey but worth the splurge.
Staff were very attentive and friendly, without hovering, and commendable that our large group order was served without a hitch.

A large party of us for a birthday lunch. Not been here since lockdown so was looking forward to revisiting. Most of us went for the 2 course menu for approx £18 - which has risen by about £5 since we last visited but hasn't everything.
The service was friendly and decent. The food was really nicely presented and was full of flavour.
The food was excellent.
Will definitely be returning soon.
Lovley lunch here yesterday,choosing the set 2 course menu(there is a set 3 course and Christmas menu).Tasty pasta dishes,Crab filled Ravioli and Ricotta/Spinach Tortillini,just the right portion.Very nice home made Tirrimissu.
Service very good,with experienced Italian waiters.Very comfortable and spacious restaurant with linen table cloths,which you don't see that often these days

Went on the 10/07/23 to celebrate my daughter's graduation it was a party of 5! we shown to our table in the large room (very relaxed atmosphere) we ordered a starter and soon after that all the mains arrived every meal was different so top marks👍 Every meal was well cooked and could not be faulted at all. Another plus is you can see the kitchen and chefs cooking it is no wonder San Marco does well I have never had a bad meal or reason to complain about anything 10 out of 10 to all the staff
Brilliant service, staff, atmosphere, food... I simply can't fault anything. The staff went over and above to make sure our experience was special today. It was my birthday meal and I was made a fuss of! Have had many family gatherings here over the years and always fabulous. Highly recommended.
Been twice within a few weeks and been impressed both times. Great food, great choice - although it would be better if the staff were aware what wasn't available so we knew not to choose those things from the start, rather than deliberating, placing the order, then the waiter/waitress having to come back to say it's unavailable... Quite annoying as it happened both times. Things run out, people accept that, just tell customers in advance...

Excellent food and service. A variety of dishes with Italian character that can satisfy even the most pretentious client. Friendly and prompt staff, great atmosphere and a lovely setting.
Highly recommend this place. The dessert is a most try if you do end up visiting San Marco!

If your order your drink and its not there in 10 mins they may have forgotten as its very busy so just give them a friendly reminder.
This restaurant is well managed, and the staff are highly trained and polite. This was my husband's and my first visit. Food was excellent and fresh. Nothing was too much for the staff. We will certainly be returning.

The visit was thoroughly enjoyable and really nice, relaxing atmosphere. Food was so tasty and loads of selections available.
We'll definitely go back again.
Main meals were good - seafood risotto and salt and pepper ribeye. However we did not enjoy the deserts - tiramisu and meringue:/
Not a very intimate or cousy place. Open space plan, gets ready loud to the point in its hard to communicate.
The view to the carpark, could be improved with some larger plants.
The seafood was really fresh, lovely garlic bread, tasty pizza, great service and friendly staffs.. wish I could give them 10 stars☺️
Wow what amazing food. We took some friends for lunch first time we'd been and the food was superb we'll definitely be back.
Food is good but have sometimes been very disappointed. Better to go for more well known popular options. Service is very friendly but sometimes a bit slow. I am not a fan of how loud and open the restaurant is.
