We decided to go here on Christmas Eve. Booked a table for four (luckily, as they were turning people away it was that busy!).
The food was excellent (I’d recommend the blue cheese and steak pie!) and the staff were clearly busy but polite and helpful.
A bonus was the wide range of gin’s on the menu, will definitely be returning!
Once again had a great lunch, food fabulous plus my company was quality. Ok so they changed the Merlot selection to Running Duck, wow what a Merlot. Seriously a beautiful wine and its vegan/vegetarian. The staff are lovely and helpful especially when we couldnt remember what food we had ordered, I blame it on the wine��� if your a wheelchair user ring in advance and reserve a table as it does get busy. Love the whole atmosphere. We opted for another bottle if Merlot rather than get desserts, hey it was a quality choice� well done Hunters, I highly recommend you, you are on my places to trust and that in itself is a great accomplishment. Keep up the hard work�
Went for a meal last night (valentines day). Everything was excellent, the food, the staff and the service. We ordered off the valentines menu which was 4 courses for £39 per couple. Very good value considering the amount of food we got and the quality of the food. All the food was cooked bang on and we didnt wait more than 5-10 min between any course. Bar staff were very nice and our table was served by a lovely girl, i think her name was Lydia. Great evening all round!
