First time visitors tonight. This is a great restaurant to go as a couple, with family, friends or solo. A large venue, which when busy, will have a great atmosphere.
I went with my partner, although there were only 4 other couples, the place felt relaxed and comfortable.

We have eaten in and had takeouts from the silk route both have been cooked to perfection, never had a bad curry from here, 100% recommend every time. Staff are always pleasant. Well done to the silk route for amazing customer satisfaction.
April 19th 2023 - Alstom Curry Night
25 former colleagues who worked at Alstom Preston (on the opposite side of Strand Road to the Silk Route) enjoyed another get together with food and drink aplenty from Ali & his staff.

Lovely place actually. Good food I really enjoyed every time I visiting this place. The only "But" for me is that they don't have desserts. We need to visit lidl each time after to buy some cake or ice cream for our daughter.

Our first time visiting Silk Route, really enjoyed the food, a reasonable selection of vegetarian options, I didn't see any Vegan though, maybe I missed something! Good portion sizes, tasty food and pleasant attentive staff. Will definitely return.
