Tried this based on previous reviews. Cooked fresh to order really good service and not badly priced for the coast. Portion size for the price is very reasonable. Curry sauce was very watery which was disappointing and I do prefer a greasy chip but that's personal preference. I've had better but I've had a hell of a lot more worse.

Brilliant service and food. As a Turkish man I randomly search this place on Google Maps. Personally I don't even know him. Anyway when we sat down everyone was speaking in Turkish whoever works there. I have an order for our food in our language. They asked are you Turkish too? Yeah yeah yeah. Where are you from Turkey? We are all from the same city. But one of the guy from only 10 miles away from my hometown. We went to the same school with him and stuff but in different years. What I am trying to say is communication is the key. I highly recommend this place. Freshly cooked fish and chips waiting for you.
I literally NEVER write reviews for anywhere but this chippy was really delicious & the staff were really lovely! We was staying at Lido beach caravan park (visiting from Manchester) & really fancied a chippy tea, the fish was lovely the chips were fresh and crispy & fantastic portions! The kids also loved their sausages! Curry was gorgeous proper English curry will 100% go to this chippy again when visiting! Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic food.. no grease, generous portion size and the ability to sit in to stop the seagulls getting your food..

Got to be the best chippy around. We had fish, chips and peas.The fish was really fresh and the chips must have been double or triple fried. So soft but with crispy bits( I need the recipe for these chips lol)An absolute must to try. Very busy chippy with lovely staff too
It lived up to it's name of crispy cod which was very nice! We had quite a long wait but the lady gave us an extra fish which was nice of her 😊 we would definitely return.

Probably one of the best fish and chips I have ever been served and such a nice friendly place.
My favourite Chips and Curry - I really like the taste of the spices they use in the sauce, and a great choice of food too.

OMG the best fish and chips I've had in years. Beautifully cooked and chips were amazing...oil is clearly changed regularly..chips were crispy delicious freshly made, and crispy but got the soft classic fish and chip softness after a while. Go!!
Fab food very good value for money very well priced for the size of the portions the fish was huge fish and chips 5.70 not bad at all .
Food was really good, large cod made me giggle as it was two pieces of a large size making large piece was interesting. Well worth the trip.
Delicious hot fresh food.
Went in not long after they had opened and was informed of a short wait (15 mins), no issue I get it. Wait ended up being nearer 30 but they appologies and gave some extra bits so I'm not complaining at all. Would recommend.
Great food , good portions. Service with a smile. Arif is a star. We love the place.
