I like the place and staff but guys your missing a trick with the cafe the food is processed and not very nice if you start making the food amazing and freah people will eventually come the centre just for the food buy local and sell the fact!! want you guys to stay in business and will always support local business make the cafe amazing. The bouncy castle was a lovely touch more of this kind of stuff does not go unnoticed I came twice in two days because of it. Make use of the empty land next to your site too if its yours maybe an allotment then you would get their trade or hold a farmers market etc
My mum went to your grotto on Saturday with my little boy. She said it was lovely, well organised and most importantly good value for money and the present was good value too. She asked me to pass on some good feedback to you. We will be recommending u to our friends.

Great little place DEFo be going again plenty in stock especially pet department which was were I was going dropping some baby fish off ,rob was fantastic,and even purchased my mums xmas present 🎁 fab place and people !

Had a lovely time today at the garden centre. My 2 year old little boy enjoyed meeting the bunny and looking for the clues to get the prize at the end. Very organised and a lovely experience for him to enjoy. Thank you.
Me, my son and baby girl loved visiting Santa here 24th dec 2014 staff very friendly cafe is fab food very good the grotto was great the Xmas dec here look fab to buy and plants they have everything all year around my nan and grandad often come here! It was 1st time for us and defo would come back they also look like the have a fab pet shop there
First time visiting here yesterday.... I have say this place is massive inside and has everything to do with gardening needs and bit more besides, plus cafe with plenty of car spaces and choice of different trolleys which require your needs when walk round.... helpful and friendly staff as well as being very clean.... ideal place for anyone in to gardening and outdoor things👌
The Garden Centre has a good variety of things to look at and is relatively well set out. Its not the biggest but enough to peak your interest.
The real attraction is the Cafe!
Wonderful food at decent prices in a very comfortable environment. Personal favourites are the Steak & Ale pie or Cottage Pie, restaurant quality food!!

Opening day of the new Whittakers site, much improved facilities but still has the same small local garden centre feel. Ample car parking, nice large indoor area as before, bright amd modern café with a good selection for opening weekend and expected to expand menu choices. Café has plenty of seating and overlooks tje covered outdoor area to one side and the outdoor plants area to another through large floor to ceiling windows, nice use of natural materials and colour palette. Indoor area of main building is spacious but lacks any 'wow factor', quite dark and ni natural light, which could have helped lift the space (similar to old building) unfortunately rather dark, maybe with time imaginative displays and lighting will grow on me. Outdoor covered area is bright, of reasonable size and leads out to the outdoor area, again of a reasonable size, have a good range which am sure will expand and change with seasons. Overall a good addition to this area of Prescot. Good luck in future business.
Can only really comment on the cafe and the cafe staff - they were all really friendly, smiling faces. As you can see the salad looks gorgeous and was very full after it couldn’t finish it - the menu had plenty of options . Friend had salt and pepper chips which was a decent portion and lots of seasoning. The hot chocolate and mocha was lovely too, they really do take care of the presentation . The older gentleman that had the dish trolley asked my friend about her daughter etc as she has been a few times. Theres outdoor seating which was nice. all lovely staff so i would visit here again for a bite to eat. They also have lovely seasonal decorations here and great for occasion cards!
This is a lovely small garden centre, but with plenty of Christmas goodies to buy, they also have a café, lovely and clean we only had a hot chocolate delicious, the menu looks good and we're going back next week to sample it .
Had an oat milk hot chocolate and cream and jam scone, lovely. Big cafe clean, friendly staff, served quick. The menu looks good and the garden centre is lovely inside and out. Will be back soon.
First time visit, a good selection of non gardening items, considering the space available, great café though, spacious, light and comfortable, excellent service and a great menu with lots of choices, different from the normal garden centre cafes .

Went for coffee with a friend. The cafe was spotless. Staff are very polite.
I recommend the jam salad and sandwich and millionaire shortbread. Delicious
Went for a gift for my Great Neice and found the young lady on the till extremely helpful and very pleasant.
Decided to go and have a cup of tea and couldn't resist a slice of the delicious cakes on view. Was spoilt for choice but decided on carrot cake which was so nice. Gentleman who served me was also really helpful and carried my tray over to my table.
All in all a great visit and will be coming back.

Good food nice staff but just a little bit under staffed when busy in cafe. A very nice place to eat and relax, well stocked shop and lots of lovely plants.
Nice garden centre with a lot of plantage to choose from. Cafe is clean and food reasonably priced and tasty too boot. Perfect for a Sunday lunch.
Fantastic place beautiful place to visit for granted plants, ornaments, furniture and many more. Staff where extremely helpful an full of helpful knowledge I'll definitely be returning again soon.
Went for dinner and to shop. Fish & chips were excellent fish very crispy chips & mushy peas just right, lots of variety in plant's and garden things for the garden. Would recommend a visit, won't be disappointed.
We took our 1 year old grandson to see Father Christmas he was brilliant. Santa's Grotto was excellent one of the best I've seen. We purchased a father christmas half price in their sale, he now stands proudly in the hall.

Nice new store feel it doesn't quite have the same feel as the old one but they're still working on it. Everywhere is clean and well stocked and they have some lovely plants
Really brilliant veriety of stock and well looked after and healthy, great nursery. Cafe is nice to with decent portions. Good toilet facilities and staff are all helpful.
