This is the biggest menu that I’ve ever seen this year. The restaurant looks nice and cozy. Staff are very helpful. The prawn cracker is delicious with sweet chilly sauce. We ordered beef and chicken stir fry and Sea Bass and Beef sirloin Weeping Tiger, which the chef cooked to medium rather than the 3 chilies on the menu(we asked for Medium spicy), it wasn’t spicy as a result and probably should have stuck with the menu description these . Taste like normal Chinese restaurant quality. Probably we ordered wrong food. We should order some Thai food in this Thai restaurant. The sea bass with Ginger is ok, sea bass is fresh but taste plain, not impressed. Highly recommend:Egg fry rice. The Long Island ice tea cocktail is absolutely taste fanstastic and looks beautiful. Anyway we do enjoy our reunited time together. Extremely impressed with their service. Nice tableware. All staff are very helpful.

Absolutely superb!! We went for the first time this evening for my husband's birthday, after being told how fab it was by so many. The service was spot on, starters and mains brought out very quickly. Food was so fresh and tasty. Staff attentive. Loved everything about it, including the very thoughtful birthday dessert for my husband! We will be back! ❤️

Really, really great. Delicious food - my grilled prawns were gorgeous - butterflied whole prawns with a very tasty chilli sauce. My husband’s spare ribs were declared the best he has ever had!! The main courses - cod with three spice sauce, and their red Thai chicken curry were perfect. All done with excellent hygiene precautions.

Nice Thai restaurant in the heart of charming poynton village. We ordered cocktails to start with which were fresh and refreshing with a deal of 2 for £15 which was good. For starters we ordered fish cakes which I didn’t quite like it as could barely taste fish in it and also they were bit greasy. For the mains we ordered green curry and prawn satay which were both nice. I ordered a couple of dry hot red chillies on the side to eat with the curry which added a bit of kick to it. Not quite happy with the service though as felt a bit rushed and no one bothered to ask how was the food etc.

Fab food and attentive service (just like in Thailand!) One tiny gripe was the sticky rice was pretty solid. They did change it and it was slightly better but appeared a little over microwaved to us. Everything else was perfect.

Nice food and good service, we had cocktails, starters and stir frys. They had a nice deal on desert with a desert wine for £8. I like the way they recommend a desert wine for each desert. The stir fry was nice but what you might expect from a takeaway at restaurant prices. I felt like they were waiting for us to go at the end as well, it was a quiet night and we were the last to go, but only by a few minutes. Didn't spoil the night though.

Had a lovely dinner. Great service. Delicious food. I had beef massaman and the beef was so tender. Will definitely be my go to Thai going forward

Consistently the best food. We have been coming here for years and now order more take aways from them but the food is always absolutely exceptional, both in the restaurant or for take away. By far the best Thai we have been to. Thank you Tom Yam. Your food and service is exceptional.

AMAZING! The food, the staff and service, the atmosphere of the restaurant - everything was simply wonderful. I'm sad that this isn't local to me because it would definitely be my new go-to restaurant, but they also offer a takeaway service if you are local. The owners of this restaurant should be very proud of what they have achieved! My photo will not do the food justice (prawn crackers, thai curry, rice, sea bass in sauce...and chips!)

Shame I can't give 10 stars! We've been going to TomYam since it opened, we're lucky enough to live within walking (stumbling) distance. The food and the service is literally always amazing, can't recommend it enough. Sunday's are a good time to go last minute as they're usually quiet, best booking any other day as it gets busy.

Well cooked tasty food and clean well designed/decorated restaurant although the gents could do with a good clean. Fairly limited menu with beef options but no pork options. Service efficient.
