Great view from the place; right on top of Devil’s dike, there is a parking space (National Trust) or can reach out but bus number 77.
You can find food pub, cold and hot drinks. It’s a big place but maybe Sunday’s can be busy.
Good for a meal of just a pick me up after a hike on the area. Dog frien
Thank you for serving Sue and Stuart chef.
we were very worried about what I would eat in the restaurant because I have a lot of allergies 😫.
they reassured me that they pay close attention to the prepared food so that it is allergen-free.
I was very happy to be able to eat something good
Thank you
We've been there with our dog. We ordered meals and drinks, everything was cooked very fast. The portions were not too large but enough:) Also, the waiter was really nice. And the view is amazing
Visited for some lunch after hiking in the area. Very spacious and light pub - would advise booking especially at weekends and sunny days. There aren't too many vegan options but what I had was tasty. The food came out quickly and our waitress was lovely
We think the staff are really lovely. Rob is great. Really good service and so friendly. Made us laugh (again this is our second d visit) and could tell the team all get.on. The waitress was very attentive and accommodating even though she was busy.
Staff are always so helpful and really convivial - a real plus for the venue compared to many others.
Food - good pub grub. Mini puddings a great idea!
In the super dog friendly area - was a bit chilly with both entrances being in frequent use.
beautiful pub with a great view, reasonably priced food and delicious, our chef was stu and the food was amazing. highly recommend
Absolutely the best option for a Sunday roast with lovely views. The service is good and fast. The toilets were clean and there was a lovely ambiance.
This place is pet friendly.
Parking for national trust members is included (but if not a member then it is not too expensive and you kind of could pa
A stunning place to go for easy to medium difficulty walks in all directions from the pub, with amazing views. Popular with dog walkers. Pub is great for a meal but you need to book week in advance, but you can always just grab a pint in the beer garden if not.
Lovely sunny day - a great steak sandwich, very reasonably priced, panoramic views - a good afternoon out...
Had a great lunch at Devil’s Dyke Hotel. Sally was amazing and even served me custard with my desert because I asked for it, when it should’ve come with ice cream instead. Attention to detail and excellent customer service is what counts - the only reason for no five stars was the fries weren’t fres
Went for a lunch meal with partner and was so impressed with not just the food but the service as well.
Sally, our waitress, was brilliant. Very friendly and welcoming and the quality of the food was outstanding. Not sure if it was home made but certainly tasted like it.
Will definitely be going bac
Lovely view from the outside of the pub. We got to witness a fab sunset. Would be better if the outside of the pub was done up as it didn’t look too great from the outside which is a shame.
My friend didn't want to eat here as she'd not heard great things, but I thought it was warm and the food looked nice, so we did! Bar staff were lovely. We both ordered roasts; my friend the trio, me the veggie and some cauliflower cheese. The menu states 'all our Sunday mains are served with...York
The best service and good food!
Loved the service, the waitress (Ramona) was very nice and kind. The food, especially the dessert was very creative but did not match the mix of the flavours. My pork belly was a bit dry. Eton mess was just a plate with whipped cream. But overall I loved it.
After a long hike, we decided to grab some lunch here! Had the steak sandwich and fish finger sandwich! The waitress Sally was absolutely amazing, Sally made us feel welcome and is a credit to the team here:) The service was good and very fast!! Will definitely be back!
