Best breakfast spot ever. I had the granola with yoghurt and blueberry compote which was excellent. My family had the breakfast burrito which is a must try.
What a little gem. Excellent friendly service in beautiful surroundings. The menu isn't huge, but it is interesting and the food was fresh and very tasty

On behalf of the beanbois and someone who has eaten here before, this place is a lovely family run business. They cater to your needs, have a very decent rotating menu and the coffee is delicious (decaf mocha is yeaaaah boiii).

Only just found The Gilbertine Kitchen. What a location. Excellent choice of snacks and light meals. The cycling clubs are in evidence which is always a good sign that a place is worth the effort. Cheerful staff really complete the experience.
Good location. Menu appealing and food tasty. A condiments and water station would have been useful in the gazebo.
Rather disappointed to see that they use budget carton apple juice for the £4 smoothie and that it was served in s plastic cup.

Lovely little Café for breakfast or lunch with outside and inside seating. We had very tasty grilled sandwiches and coffees and would definitely go back when next in the area.
Enjoyed a drive out for a coffee in my friends classic car recently and hoping to pop in again this week if the weather stays dry in our classic cars. I hope this time they have plenty of hot sausage rolls left🙏 as my mate had the last one a few weeks ago and they looked really nice😉😪👍🙏
December 2022: I visited again after nearly a three month gap. We went for brunch and we weren't disappointed. Two of us had the breakfast burrito with additional halloumi. Delicious. It was seasoned with a lovely zing. Very welcome, filling and warm in minus degree temperatures. My other friend

Stumbled across this great coffee shop while out walking during a weekend break in the area. It's really lovely, the coffee was very good. The menu is fab, being veggies we sometimes struggle, but there was plenty on offer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we'd look forward to a return v
