Nice little tea room, has character. Food was lovely, as was the pot of tea. Kids' meal quite cheap, quite simple but you can order anything off the main menu in a smaller portion.
Always friendly, accommodating staff. It's a lovely cafe with excellent food. I would highly recommend it! 👍

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at truly scrumptious especially scarlett who was brilliant. My daughter had her 7th birthday party here today and it was absolutely fantastic. All the girls had a wonderful time, they enjoyed all the crafts and games and the food was amazing. They even catered for my daughter best friend who is gluten free with not trouble at all. Cant recommend it enough. Thank you so much.
I went for lunch with my mum yesterday, as always fantastic service n such tasty food. I have to say I think they have the best jacket potatoes! Will definitely go again soon �

The first time we went, we really enjoyed the food, but I had a prawn salad yesterday and didn't really enjoy it, all leaves with prawns and rosemary sauce, nothing else. My friend has a scone with jam and cream and really enjoyed it.
Three of us went to this charming tea room near St Chads Church. One of us had already been to the tea room before and it was their suggestion to go. I cannot say a bad word against the business and would like to go for an evening meal next time I'm in the area.
This cafe is lovely. I've not been since before the refurb but it's rustic and classy too. The view is great from upstairs. They also catered for two vegans in our party and went out for vegan sausages but five then a heads up before you go. Gluten free options too. Thank you. Soy coffee was very tasty.

Today we had a beautiful baby shower, on arriving we were made to feel very welcome, comfortable and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

The food and service here is very good. The breakfast is very tasty and freshly cooked, the bacon is of a good quality as are all the ingredients. Obviously you will pay a little more for this but not excessively so, it's actually good value for the standard of food. Well worth a visit.
Nice place to chill out with a coffee and cake or have a late breakfast professionally presented after 10. Shame they are not open at the weekend but it makes a treat during the week. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice cafe. Fairly small seating area though I didn't go upstairs. Good choice of tea. However payment was by cash only and there was only a small choice of cakes.
