The first time we went, we really enjoyed the food, but I had a prawn salad yesterday and didn't really enjoy it, all leaves with prawns and rosemary sauce, nothing else. My friend has a scone with jam and cream and really enjoyed it.
Three of us went to this charming tea room near St Chads Church. One of us had already been to the tea room before and it was their suggestion to go. I cannot say a bad word against the business and would like to go for an evening meal next time I'm in the area.
This cafe is lovely. I've not been since before the refurb but it's rustic and classy too. The view is great from upstairs. Offering an array of fresh dishes and cakes, aswell as tea (including loose tea) and coffees; you will not leave either disappointed
Great little cafe. We were heading somewhere else but stopped here and so glad we did. Pretty outdoor seating. Lovely food in generous portions. Cakes look delicious. Kids menu for under 8s. Real leaf tea!
Went for lunch with a friend. Absolutely gorgeous food. Really fresh delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely staff too. Will certainly be going again.
Today we had a beautiful baby shower, on arriving we were made to feel very welcome, comfortable and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

The food and service here is very good. The breakfast is very tasty and freshly cooked, the bacon is of a good quality as are all the ingredients. Obviously you will pay a little more for this but not excessively so, it's actually good value for the standard of food. Well worth a visit.
Nice place to chill out with a coffee and cake or have a late breakfast professionally presented after 10. Shame they are not open at the weekend but it makes a treat during the week. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Absolutely amazing place , held my daughters baby shower here , the food was spectacular, , the owners of this lovely little establishment are the most nicest people you could ever meet , wouldn’t hesitate to book here again ,5 stars doesn’t seem enough , …thank you, you made Lucy’s day so lovely x
Great quality tasty ingredients, allow swaps to the set which I’d helpful when allergic to egg. Happily recommend to anyone

Nice cafe. Fairly small seating area though I didn't go upstairs. Good choice of tea. However payment was by cash only and there was only a small choice of cakes.
