Lovely food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Had the pork belly bites (stunning), the hake special, and lemon posset.
If you want a pub with good food , generous portions at a reasonable price this is one to visit, as the owners are local farmers and run a nearby farm shop you get quality produce. The Staff were good and on the ball with service. There is outside seating with some of it covered. All in all a good v
A great discovery. Very warm and friendly welcome. Great staff and banter. Open fires burning well in all rooms. A diners pub. Had a delicious evening meal. It's a Wadsworth pub with a difference. The beer is served direct from barrels behind the bar.

Lovely pub, and the food judged by our first visit is not to be missed. Had good old pie and chips and as you can see its a feast for the eyes. The triple cooked chips were divine and the pie was just amazing, lovely tender meat beautiful pastry...you could not ask for more plus excellent service. W
Fantastic Sunday lunch with beef from their own farm with SEVEN (yes, SEVEN!) different vegetables.
We were recommended to visit and warned that we would have problems moving after such good food. They were right!
