First, I VERY highly recommend this pub for the Sunday roast dinner! Especially if you're a big party. There were 18 of us in the ole barn (which has been converted) and the meals all came out quick and hot which was very impressive. There were no mistakes either, the same with the pudding.

Been seeing what good reviews the Royal Oak had been getting, hadn't been for a number of years, what a nice surprise, had an excellent meal, steak, home made lasagne and ham egg and chips all three meals were really good, we were all impressed with both the service and the meals. Will be returnin

Great pub with lovely staff. We held a wake here and the staff were so helpful. The buffet had a good selection.
What a find on a Friday. Naturally had to try their fish and chips. Lovely. Good atmosphere, great service and cozy too. Very happy. Would highly recommend.
Very nice inside, very warm, open and inviting, lovely people behind the bar, food was really good as well, very crispy small chips at the bottom, but not complaining as the rest was lovely.
