Actually cannot recommend this place highly enough. A total little gem of a tea room. Food, drink and cakes to die for, nice relaxed atmosphere and a little treasure trove of loveliness in the form of cushions, bags, hair accessories, cards, clothes and artworks amongst other things. Pop down, have lunch, tea, cake and then make sure you have a good look around upstairs and down.My friend introduced me to this place about a year and a half ago and I'm so glad she did. Everyone needs an ARTea Room to escape to every now and then xxxx

This is such a lovely place; quirky, friendly, accommodating & a refreshing difference to the typical pop- up coffee shops. Both my husband and I have been many times .. brought my grandma , mother and friends on different occasions, usually for a cream tea (the scones are bigger than average) the lunches were tasty and always a generous portion, ... I loved the varied hand knitted tea cosy and the miss matched crockery and the art that was for sale you could say it became a firm favourite of ours. However there has been a long gap since our last visit due to health problems. With in the last couple of months I have been diagnosed as gluten intolerant so you can imagine eating out becomes a huge challenge. It was a delight to know my favourite old place not only caters for gluten intolerant but has an array of things on offer your not limited at all (esspecialy as Starbucks's offer 1 item, !!) ... they offer a range of cakes .. they have scones (so I can still have my cream tea) they have bread so you can have any of the sandwiches / toasties .. I'm delighted and WILL be returning very soon

Visited for the first time this weekend. This tea room is delightful with one of the best gluten free cakes I think I've had. I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful café, absolutely loved the different china cups/plates. Upstairs boutique is quaint; lovely hand made items along with retro clothing. The café has lots of handmade items/paintings on display for sale. First class breakfast with a giant pot of tea - heavenly. Will definitely be returning!

The food, the service and the products available - all five stars!!! Can recommend this place to everyone and I will! Over the course of a day I managed to sample most of the products they have available - sandwiches, salads, cakes and tea and coffee! All of which were truly to die for (even took a piece of cake home!) I also bought a pin-cushion which was for sale by a local crafter. James was the perfect host and is passionate about his business. I will be back soon for sure.

I have never been here before but what a lovely place to have afternoon tea. The tea menu had so many different varieties to choose from. Cherry & chocolate I would have liked to have tried but I stuck to the normal. When the afternoon tea platter came out WOW so much to eat. It beat my husband and I. We were able to take home what we had left. Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon tea

Visited here today for the very first time on the recommendation of my friend. WOW, what a beautiful little hidden treasure this place is! It is only a 15 minute drive from my home in Milton Keynes and 5 minutes from Old Stratford. Could not fault a single thing so I will share everything that is right about this place! There is ample parking right outside the Tea Room and as soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by its friendly owner James, and the smell of delicious food cooking. The assortment of freshly home baked cakes, cookies, pastries etc are to die for! Coffee cake, Victoria sandwich, toffee apple cake, chocolate cookies, mince pies, Tiffin cake, and much much more. The tea room(s) are so spacious and double doors lead out onto a little courtyard at the back, which would be absolutely delightful on a Summer's day. There is also an upstairs room which I guess could be used if visiting here for a special occasion and wanting a bit of privacy. The menu is so extensive and literally caters for all needs/tastes. The only problem is deciding what to order but I know I will most certainly return again and again and therefore will just have to work my way through the menu! Today I had Hunters chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese with salad, homemade coleslaw and triple cooked chips which are served in a tin bucket. It was all freshly cooked and absolutely mouth-wateringly de-blimmin-licious!!!!!! I literally cannot stop telling people about Artea and can't wait to return with family and friends so they too can have a 'slice' of this wonderful experience! 😋☺️

Open fully once again. Great social distancing seating. Socially distanced table service. Great menu. Excellent food and service. Now open Monday to take full advantage of all 3 days of Rishi Sunak's 50% off meal deals. 🌝 Thoroughly recommend both the XXL Hot Chocolate (although I passed on the mini marshmallows) and the "to die for" Sticky Toffee pudding. Lots to choose from. All great! Enjoy. Outside seating too.

Had a quick search in the area for a quick lunch and was so happy we found this place. Friendly staff and lovely food on offer. Options to sit inside and out, meant there should be plenty of room, when they get busy. The added extra of the shop to buy Gin, wine and lots other extras was a really nice touch. Would highly recommend a visit.

We had afternoon tea which was fantastic except the sandwich were all cut into weird triangle sizes so it was hard to share . Also we were offered more drinks and cream and jam . The drinks came the cream never . Food tasted really tasty

I had my High Tea baby shower here and James was amazingly hospitable and accommodating for my 21 peeps plus 2 kids and 2 babies/buggies! Especially as it was on a Sunday and he had someone call in sick that morning! So it was just him and two lovely girls tending to us on one side of the building and also tending to all the walk ins on the other side of the shop! They never showed any signs of stress and were always smiling! The high tea presentation, variety and taste was impeccable I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone! This is becoming a staple meet up place for myself, friends and family x

No vegan options on the menu or any mention that they serve them, BUT they do so you have to ask. They had vegan cheese, margarine, and a couple of cakes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My vegan sandwich was served with vegetable crisps and a plain salad, overall it was tasty. They have a great selection of teas, and the others' cream teas went down well.

We celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary with a group of 18 family and friends. We pre-ordered afternoon tea which is included 5 special diets, 3 vegetarians, 1 vegan and 1 no butter/cheese. The afternoon tea was perfect, plenty of sandwiches, scones, fruit and cake suitable for everyone. The tea menu was plentiful. We were well looked after with the staff extremely helpful. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend this place

We ate breakfast here and myself and my husband can confidently say it was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. And that is no polite exaggeration because we know anyone who works there, we genuinely don’t. This week was the first time I had ever visited the ARTea Room and I ended up going twice in one week. Which I think tells you how good it is. I was cheeky and asked for a crispy bacon sandwich as that’s how I prefer it. And it was cooked to perfection, again, no exaggeration. I must say the service in particular was excellent. My Husband had a bacon and egg sandwich and they deliberately didn’t cut it so that the egg wouldn’t run. So considerate! Me and my husband are bitterly disappointed that the tea room is closed over Christmas. But we will be returning there for breakfast, once at reopens.
