An absolute gem.
Friendly, helpful owners and staff, delicious food and well kept ale. All you can ask for in a pub, we are frequent visitors to the area and will definitely return.
Thank you Falgate for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
I booked a family meal here for 22.2.24 it was for a large group of us and we also pre booked our meals, I’d like to say how fabulous the food was everyone including our little ones really enjoyed their meals, the staff were friendly & very helpful and didn’t rush us on our way after we had eaten. Thank you everyone who made our meals & family get together very pleasurable
Great village pub with outdoor and indoor dining areas. Parking is a bit limited but easily walked from Potter Heigham boat moorings.
Stopped in for an Easter Sunday Roast. Absolutely amazing! Service excellent, food incredible. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.
Took friends for a meal on Sunday. The Sunday roasts were well presented, perfectly cooked and on the "larger" side of normal. 4 drinks and 4 meals came to a very reasonable total which i would not hesitate to pay again for this little gem on the broads. As we live in a neighbouring village, i can see us visiting again as a couple and when friends/relatives come to visit.
Clean, quiet and very polite and attentive staff positively added to the pleasant atmosphere and surroundings.
My one negative - I am only allowed to award 5 stars and this place deserves more!
Just a quick snack, lovely chips bacon and cheese snack.
Very helpful and cheerfull staff.
Good location.
Great horse display outside.
Traditional pub with a lovely menu that offers some different options to your normal pub grub as well as the usual favourites. Within walking distance from Potter Heigham river bank. Reasonably priced compared to other pubs/restaurants in the Norfolk Broads area. Always a lovely meal and service here. Would highly recommend.
The food was good and piping hot. It was a fairly informal setting. We just popped in for lunch as we passed the pub.
Went in today on the off chance of a table,no problem we was made very welcome, staff very helpful and friendly, food was excellent, fresh and very tasty indeed.
Great pub enjoyed with family whilst on holiday. It was dog friendly and the dogs were allowed inside. We had one on our lap and had no complaints from the staff. Staff were very friendly and accommodating we had a table of 8 people and they were very helpful. The food was delicious and served hot, we had a selection of different menu items and all of us enjoyed our meals. The most important thing was that the desserts were great too! We had 2 children with us and they were well catered for, the staff were friendly to them and they felt at ease. The decor was lovely and modern, and the place was very clean. The children enjoyed going outside in the small play area they have, and I imagine the garden area would be lovely to sit in during the summer. A shame that we are only visiting the area as we would have enjoyed to come back.
