Friendly staff, beautiful views, gorgeous food... A new favourite ❤️
The staff were very efficient and pleasant, the food was good, they do change the menu so the one on their website may not be the same as is being served, but there is always something tasty to eat. Car parking is not a problem, as both times we dined, in the evening, there were plenty of free spaces in the golf club car park.
Fabulous Sunday Lunch today well worth the visit really enjoyed.

Ate here for Sunday Lunch in September 2022. Superb - in a word. The setting is excellent with a nice interior and excellent view. The service was outstanding from start to finish - the staff were attentive, informed and professional.
The stand out was the food - I've ate in the other Ian Orr & Marcus Roulston restaurants and it rarely disappoints, but this was truly exceptional. I had roast beef, it was perfectly cooked and well presented.Others in our party of 7 said the same about their meals.
In summary, I would say this is likely the best restaurant in the Portstewart/Portrush area and will go on to be very successful.
Incredible service from the staff, high quality food and the decor is beautiful! Just minus one star for the lack of sweet potato purée on the roast chicken dinner (that’s listed as a main ingredient on the menu, yet everyone else at the table who ordered other dishes also received this!) and I would have loved a wider range of dessert options. Also, it would have been great to have a price breakdown on the Sunday menu, as it seems mandatory to have three courses - when we found out that this isn’t the case. Overall a great experience though 😊
We have been twice to this restaurant this summer. The food is fantastic. Customer service, atmosphere, and stunning views of Portstweart Strand are just outstanding. Thank you also to our lovely waitress Karolina who was so friendly and all the staff who could not do enough. All we can say is Wow! Well done and we highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting the North Coast. It is a real treat! We cant wait to go back!

The food is good but, it seems like the portion sizes and plating of the same dish can vary. One week small portion of Monkfish, another large portion. Not sure if they changed it from feedback or they were running out of Monkfish the first time. The lamb dish with the burnt hay is a bit weird. I don't think the hay adds anything since they just bring it out in a box to show you it has been near some burnt hay. The 3 sauces/purees the lamb comes with don't make sense, just pick one. The suede one was good and the white one (horseradish I think) was good, the sweet tomato one wasn't good with the lamb. The pate starter was not good. Small portion and didn't taste that nice. Very disappointing especially when compared to the monkfish or fig salad which are considerably better. I think it would be 5 stars if there weren't pothole dishes in the menu. It's like if you pick the right dishes you could have a great night. If you string together some bad ones you could be very disappointed.

Staff were exceptional.
I had a lovely evening out with some friends ,we had scallops, duck, beetroot and goats cheese to start all perfect. For mains ,steak, lamb, cod and plaice all well presented.There is a good selection of wines for all tastes. The front of house staff looked after us intently with some light hearted craic.We finished our evening with some espresso coffees and desserts to share.Everyone said their meal was excellent and I can recommend Eighteen Ninety Four @ Portstewart Golf Club.
Excellent meal all courses superb and extensive wine list fantastic wine. Highly recommended.
