A gem of a place visited today for the first time but will certainly be returning soon. Lovely food. Coffee served at your table on a tray with a biscuit choice of sugars and a danty spoon stand. Its these little touches that are appreciated. Polite service with a smile.
Lovely selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch options, even a bar with spirits for the afternoon! They had a nice affordable variety of bagels and baguettes to choose from. Quality seems on par with prices and it’s refreshing to not be charged £5 for a pot of tea 🍵😊 or coffee. Tried the eggs Benedict and a nice baguette, all very fresh. Service fine too, you pay upon entry and sit down, café style. Would come again with family and friends for a chat, had a lovely atmosphere too.

Came for brunch with my hubby & a friend & our dog, we were greeted with a friendly welcome, the menu has lots of choice & the breakfasts were delicious as was the coffee! Jeffery the sausage dog loved it too, we'll definitely be back! Thanks so much for a relaxed brunch experience! :)
Hi, we do have are fare share of cafe food, every month. So when I say this large breakfast is big enough and great value with top quality food I mean it. Owners and staff very nice and chatty. We have found are new cafe. Sean and Charlie
Absolutely amazing food and fantastic staff. Had afternoon tea today with my niece as it is her birthday and the staff dressed the table with birthday banners and made her feel so special. Thank you to Jo Ryan and all the staff, you are all angels!! Xx
Great food lovely staff and I love the Milkshakes!! Roast dinners on Sundays and smaller meals I've had have all been really good!
WoW, Mum and I are so happy that we stopped in at Angel's for a takeaway coffee and sandwich. The food, service and delivery was absolutely spot on, very authentic environment, give a community feel. Food was absolutely delicious and made with love. Definitely big value for money!

Excellent local cafe. Jo and Ryan work ever so hard and provide great quality food and personal friendly service. They did the catering for my sons recent birthday party and did a fantastic job especially when dealing with the dietary requirements of some of the children.
Excellent Cafe, great selection of food and drink, an amazing atmosphere around you, staff are nice and friendly, very enjoyable. Also dog friendly and very good with dogs.

Took my mum here for breakfast. They know her here and are always very welcoming. My mum is wheelchair bound and they have a ramp at the door which is great for getting in and out. The food is tasty and generous. It's good for English breakfast, and great sandwiches. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. A great, and typically English cafe.

Super little known gem here. I’ve only recently moved to the area and goodness this is a little star of a cafe to come to.
The staff were very attentive but not intrusive.
The food was top notch.
I went for the salmon with poached egg with spinach and avocado. Too often eggs are over cooked and the avocado is not fresh.
NOT here!
Egg yolks runny, avacado ripe soft and beautifully green.
The bread and bagels were on spot with toasting. And, the salmon. I’m not a fan of smoked salmon likely because I get it from a supermarket but Angels 👼 salmon was lush. Not greasy, over salted or thin. I’ll post a photo. And fresh leaves with no grit. 😁😁😁
Also Angels were very happy to accommodate additional requests. I asked for hollandaise sauce. Not a problem. My friend, having seen one of the other dishes provided to a table, ordered the same to take away for her daughter. That’s important since my friend knew immediately that her daughter (who battles many medical problems ) her daughter would love that meal.
Angels 👼 got straight to it and provided in a take away version.
Also very good that a pot of tea for 2 is actually a pot of tea for 2. And of course propa tea. ( you will get it if you are from up north) 🤣😁😁😁🤣
Then we come to the last part. It’s a very happy relaxed place where dogs and puppies are welcome. All the pups/dogs were very well behaved as were their owners. Those that know dogs will understand.

Discovered this place on a recent visit to Portsmouth, and what a gem of a place to find when looking for a Sunday morning breakfast. Very friendly staff and the food was delicious.
This place has amazing coffee and a fantastic menu! Really really affordable too, the staff are very bright and cheery too
Just had lunch here, to say I was shocked at the size of the sandwich I had, is an understatement, really tasty, great price, very friendly staff, will definitely be going again.

There was was a comment on Facebook about Angels doing a great Ploughmans, so went along. We weren't disappointed. Plenty on the board with fresh baked bread. It did beat me, as i did take a bit of cheese home. My husband had a Chilli Jacket, the jacket was a large one, no skimping on the filling with a lovely side salad with a nice dressing. Would highly recommend a visit.
Had a delivery breakfast. No complaints at all. Delivered quick, food was hot and lots of it. My only (very small ) gripe would be to add an option for no tomatoes. I’m not a fan of them, but as I said very small gripe and personal to me… but doesn’t distract from what we’re two very good meals. We have found a new place to eat.
Popped in for breakfast nice and early. There is a wait as everything is cooked fresh but I prefer that instead of things being precooked and shoved in the oven/ microwave to keep warm.
The lady was very friendly and clearly built a wonderful relationship with regulars but was just as welcoming to us newcomers.
I thoroughly recommend the English breakfasts!
