Lovely atmosphere, very busy for a Monday lunch time so can tell it’s popular. Staff were attentive but not overly so. Food was tasty, however very small for the price and was confusing. We ordered the Dirty Disco Chicken Burger and the Notorious R.I.B, we expected the ribs to be a rack rather than a tiny sandwich and for the price it was small. The pork was cooked lovely, chicken lacked flavour and the truffle chips were good, a tad over cooked. Overall a good experience thanks to the staff as they all wished us a good day and said goodbye as we were leaving, which is a good touch.
The service was fantastic. The young blond lady and young guy with glasses, really went out their way to make sure we were having a nice time and we were. The food was delicious. We ordered way too much but it was delicious. The milkshakes were proper milkshakes and ten out of ten. I've never heard of Hub Box before but I will most definitely be back.
Have managed to come twice in as many weeks. For a date night and family dinner with the sister-in-law's, it was great for both.
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is great so far my favourite has been the Korean chicken burger and the pulled pork dirty fries. I can't wait to try some more options in the future. I may have to wait a while though as I always end up with more food than I bargain for.
The drinks menu is also varied with options for everyone.
Edit: I returned today and had the same great service but this time I had the double patty Big Kahuna and shared the Boston Fries both were great!
First ever visit to Hub Box and was really impressed with the huge menu. I'm a coeliac/gluten free and was amazed at how 99% of the menu was gluten free or gluten free option. Food was excellent - especially the Mother Clucker Dirty Fries. Service was friendly, polite and genuine - special mention to Kamila our waitress who looked after us very well. Will definitely be back. Thank you!!
Very delicious meal! Dirty fries especially! Great service! Young girl with blonde hair had a fantastic customer service and was very friendly. Will definitely be back when visiting Portsmouth again.

We, a family of four, walked in and were acknowledged within seconds, we were greated with a lovely smile and seated within a minute of walking through the door.
The menu selection is great for us and the kids: burgers, dogs, vegan/ vegi, chips, Nachos and Mac 'n' cheese.
One of my girls had kids Mac 'n'cheese; "oh my god, this is the best I've ever tasted" she commented ( and she knows her Mac 'n'cheese!)
The onion rings were crispy and delicious, very morish!
The servers are attentive and polite. I could not recommend this place highly enough!

Personal favourite place to go, amazing atmosphere and the best staff honestly, go above and beyond to make your dining special. Never once had an issue with food, but it’s hard to pick on something so good. Will definitely fill you up! I recommend anything on the menu as it’s all the best. :)) ps drinks are also tasty
Loved it! I've never been before, had a night out in Portsmouth and picked this place. So glad we did. Great food, lovely staff, reasonably priced, I was just upset I was too full to try pudding as they looked amazing!! Will definitely go back if I'm in the area!
We were here twice during our stay in Portsmouth. Their menu is great for people with gluten intolerance. Loved their food and really enjoyed our stay. Staff were great and attentive. :)

If you like burgers then this is the place to be. Set within gunwharf in Portsmouth.The burger menu has a good choice of meat, beef , chicken and fish burgers. Vegetarian and vegan burgers are also available.
The meal itself was very tasty.service was fast and efficient. Perfect place to be after going shopping or before going to the cinema.

A beautifully decorated restaurant, this venue was host to our lunch trip for 4 and wow, it was great. I started off with a can of Ting, one of my favourite beverages and I was SO excited that they had it! The group then ordered items including the classic burger, the classic dog, the kids cheese burger, and I had the Rocky Barbacoa from the barbecue menu, served with sweet potato fries and a side of Mac and cheese. This burger was juicy, flavoursome and stacked; close to perfect. The sweet potato fries were crisp and sweet to match, with the mac and cheese, whilst not being the best I've ever had, was hearty and delicious.
The staff were friendly, and the wait times for both food and drink were what you would expect at lunch time in Gunwharf; quick, but we were very hungry!
Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and should we visit Gunwharf Quays again, I know we would consider going there again.
Hub box has a rustic environment and atmosphere which gives a cosy and pleasant dining experience. Great place to go to catch up with friends. Staff are very friendly and the music played is very nice. The food is delicious and they have a good range of choices. The beef burger was amazingly juicy and the buns were lovely and soft but still with a crunch to them. They also have a good range of drinks, I got one of their refreshing coolers. Very delicious and will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
First experience here with colleagues this past week and must say the service was really good. They managed to serve 30-40 of us really quickly and all meals were hot.
I had the fish burger with onion rings, orange and polenta cake with hot chocolate.
Fantastic food, chicken burger was easily one of the best I've ever had, and my partner said the beef burger was awesome. Cheesy fries were amazing, as were the onion rings!
First time here on Saturday lunchtime, food was really good, decent sized portions although the loaded fries were a little small for the price. Excellent for kids with a good menu and colouring in to do. Nice range of craft beers including guest beers on tap. Eager to go back and try more dishes.
