I eat out extensively in Portsmouth and tonight, with my girlfriend, I had the best meal I have had in the city to date. The whole experience was excellent, from the staff and service to the amazing food. 100% recommend, what a great place
Chef from Moldova 🇲🇩 made these dishes sing with layers of organic flavour and complexity within each dish. Didn’t all blend together as one flavour, each dish stood on its own and was delicious. Nice cocktails and the Pinot blush worked well with each tapas. The simple decor included plants and an industrial feel. Loved it.

A very pleasant little restaurant, which offers a Spanish themed menu and a selection of wines and cocktails. We had 9 tapas dishes between 3 of us, which was more than enough.
Each dish was plentiful and very tasty. To finish, we managed a single serving of churros between us, which was authentic and lovely. The only downside for us was the single unisex toilet, with a poor standard of cleanliness. Other than that, we would highly recommend and we will be back.
Absolutely amazing food, freshly made. Proper, authentic Spanish tapas, very nice sangria, perfect alioli! A delight! We will come back and recommend it to all our friends.
Recently visited Nicholsons with my partner and absolutely loved it. Brilliant menu and one of the best meals I've had. For an independent business and the quality of the food, the price is really good - you'd pay the same or more at a chain restaurant for food half as good. We liked it so much, we went back for lunch the day after. Cannot recommend it enough!
The best Paella I've ever had, better than when in Spain. Very flavoursome and rich. Friendly staff. I'll be going back soon. Thank you!
Friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately the dishes I had chosen were unavailable. My daughter wanted the paella but had to order 24hrs in advance. She missed this in the confirmation. The online menu said order in advance, but not 24hrs in advance!
An amazing variety of food- I think I ate the most I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant! The steak tapas was the best beef I’ve had in Portsmouth, and the bleu cheese mushrooms were delightfully light and delicious. We had six tapas in total- every dish was different but complimented well. Highly suggest a visit as a date- maybe not a first date as you share everything and I could see that being awkward, but my partner and I loved being able to try bits of each other’s food. She’s vegetarian and had PLENTY of options, the menu allowed for any manner of dietary requirements. I also reccomend their desserts, we had the crepe brûlée and some chocolate and marscapone dish that were perfect meal enders, also try a glass of the dessert Chardonnay to cleanse the palate after all the tapas. My partner loved their watermelon gin drink (new addition to their menu). Cannot rate highly enough, service was great too. Go hungry!!
The best restaurant in Southsea. Delicious, freshly cooked food and excellent, friendly staff. Fantastic menu. Can not recommend this restaurant more highly.

Delicious food, very nice ambience and helpful staff. Mussels in the sauce and prawns & scallops on skewers were one of the best or probably the best we ever had. Great presentation too!
