The most delicious curry in Portsmouth. Staff always friendly and helpful. The food, is always piping hot and delicious! They never disappoint!!
Had our first delivery from Guru Express. Very clear and precise when ordering, kept upto date with the order, but most of all the food was great. Delivery driver (tall, short hair) was extremely polite, Will definitely order again.
I'm quite fussy about curry and this place was recommended so I nervously gave them a call. They explained they were very busy (Saturday night) and it would take an hour but I said I was happy to wait. (It arrived dead on the hour.) It was indeed worth the wait! The delivery man was polite and the 5 of us all loved it! The dishes were as described; the chicken was well cooked (succulent - not hard like it can be sometimes), the poppadoms were fresh, the flavours were great, rice was fluffy... Basically delicious, we will be returning! 😀
Having just gone under new management I decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did, this has to best curry I have had in ages, and free delivery too. The various curries we've had so far have been full of flavour and very tender meat. I won't be going elsewhere from now on. 5 stars all round
Tiger Special Lamb & Egg Fried Rice, with Lime Pickle and Papadom.
Lovely spiced curry, not too sweet or hot. Excellent rice, light and fluffy Basmati, well flavoured with a hint of corriander. Tangy lime pickle and dry crunchy Papadoms not greasy at all. Walked in ordered, always very friendly and chatty, excellent customer service. If you fancy a Indian then Guru Express won't let you down. I'd say they are the best Indian takeaway on London Road.
Well what can I say about this awesome establishment firstly let me start by saying placed our order online with ease very well presented menu with such a vast array of choice food arrived on time greater by a very freindly chap on opening our order we were surprised at the extra bits we had onion salad with popadum and a sauce the food not only looked mouth watering but tasted awesome I had to pick up the phone and just show my appreciation at such quality and perfection so if your looking for a great curry with choice value and abundance look no further than guru express I cannot highly recommend this place enough if I had to rate out of ten id say 20 its that tasty thank you for a mouth watering food explosion of spices and flavour top notch
Had 2 chicken tika masalas on 30 - 9-19 very good service and excellent curry. I willbe coming back soon. It was delivered to 41 Arnaud Close.. Well done
Me & my partner Had a Chicken Tika Masala from here last night as a late birthday meal that was couple of days ago I was so impressed with the meal I will going back again well done I recommend them.
We stopped off at Guru Express whilst passing through. It's not our local but will definitely be going back- the best curry I've had in a long time.
Excellent service, on line ordering process is easy and the took only 35 mins to deliver from ordering.
Food was good quality and didn't require reheating. I certainly recommend it.
