I've been eating currys in portsmouth for 40 years, I've got to tell you this is right up there, reminds me of the original Jimmy's in fawcett Rd. For all that are to young , top quality ingredients, taste fantastic, and price is competitive.

First time ordering a home delivery from Indian cottage food arrived on time unfortunately chicken tikka starter was missing but when I phoned they sent another driver round with one straight away ..The korma curry I ordered was perfect the chicken was tender and delicious the rice was cooked well I would say the best korma curry I have ever had ..also the namb bread was lovely..I haven't had the chicken tikka starter yet because it didn't arrive with the meal so will have tomorrow but I'm shore it will be good .. I will definitely be returning as a customer the food was perfect and customer service excellent.

Ordered here for collection by mistake. Thought we were ringing the southsea one. They were happy to change it for delivery when we phoned them back. Delivery was really quick. Really enjoyed the food too. Definitely would order again.

Best Indian in Portsmouth, worth the wait. By default the takeaway service is always at least a 80 minute wait, so as long as you bare that in mind when you order it you won't get Hangry. The food is amazing, the garlic naan is the best by far. It's also lovely service if you were to sit in. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great food, best curry house in the north of Portsmouth... I've been sampling curries in Portsmouth for 33 years from Albert Road to Port Solent and this place is a hidden gem. Can get lively occasionally but the food is first rate and prices are great. Try it once and you'll have it on your short list of places to go.

Food is fantastic, cannot deny that but the wait.....even if you order and collect is staggering. Clearly understaffed which is a shame but I guess in a parade of eateries where both neighbours are curry houses you have to run as lean as you can. But trust me, the food is definitely worth the wait (just order early and prepare to wait).

Lovely meal & great service staff friendly they do focus on eating in rather than delivery . That's the way it should be

Warm welcome. Food thoroughly hot. Very good food. Lamb tikka with Peswari nan excellent. Lamb dishes are often a giveaway to quality in any curry house, but it was tender and tasty. So, thumbs up so far. More salad would benefit tho. Goan chicken was similarly tasty and good, though might have had a few more chicken portions. So, why not 5 stars? First limited wine in stock, although the medium dry house was pleasant. Second, ambiance: decor wad great but it needed background music (system there but not operative).
