Nice place for lunch, lots of options and deals (lunch, drinks...) . Super friendly staff!
Over the years I have had some pretty terrible service in this branch. From waiting an hour for my food bill to waiting 40 minutes on a quiet day for drinks that never came despite repeated chasers (we walked out eventually). Glad to say that it seems to have improved. Recently popped in for food a
Great atmosphere for lunchtime dining. I had the Deli Beef Burger with fries. It was lovely, not at all greasy. Well cooked, lots of flavor, and arrived quickly. Service was very good. All in all, great lunch.
Came here for some dinner and a few drinks and had a great time. Didn't have to wait in long queues for drinks or anything and food came quickly and was tasty. Nice that they didn't scrimp on the sauces that came with the food either like most other places!! Music was loud enough that you could easi
Went for lunch here on Monday 10 September. Food is half price on Monday. I had Thai chicken and my friend had a burger. Both dishes were excellent. Background music had a good choice of numbers too. Service was very quick and polite. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Palmerston
Hit the place cold and in a bad mood, having had train cancelled. Told the staff we were in a hurry as we needed to catch the next train, and they stepped up to the mark. Made sure we got everything in good time. Better yet, they warned us of train delays they'd heard about - and even ordered a taxi
We ended up at the slug on a Friday night while trying to find somewhere able to accommodate a group of 12 for some casual eating after the Southsea Castle Champagne bar. Our table was ready when we arrived and a lovely lady Charlie was there to look after us all evening with drinks, food and good h
Deliciously juicy burger with equally tasty skinny chips. Not too expensive and the food came out quickly! Staff also very friendly, would definitely come again
A clean bar/restaurant that does nice food. In the evening at weekends, it turns into a music lounge bar set up. Drinks can be a bit pricey compared to the local area, but it is a clear and crisp pint.
Was on office party yesterday, got kicked out of the lord Palmerston for being too noisy. Even though we're spending like £200 a time at the bar. So went to the slug and lettuce and it was brilliant. Staff were very understanding and happy to help even when people where spewing up all over the place
