Great Food, and great place to sit and watch the world go by. Was down to see my lad in the Navy, had breakfast there. Couldn't fault a single thing. And there was 6 of us. One of the last great independent cafes.

The food is superb. Best breakfast I've had in a cafe for a long time. Credit to the older couple who run this place. I don't know how they managed just 2 of them. I would have been exhausted after 20 minutes.

The shop us opened in 70s and managed by a couple whose age could be 70-80, thus I will not compare the service and food with those high street chain restaurants. The price is cheaper and the food quality is fair. The decoration is naturally old but you will find it likes a small hub for the local community. I definitely will go to try their fish and chip next time.

Come to this place instead of the Costa in the travel centre. Proper little traditional cafe, run by a friendly older couple who've been on this spot for ages. Order at counter, and food brought to table. Traditional cafe fare, tea served in pot, two teabags, and plenty of milk in the jug. Enough for three cups. Check times coz they're not always open.

Really pleased we choose to eat here. The male owner was incredibly friendly and the cafe had a great atmosphere. My omelette was lovely and the chips were lovely and crispy! A very nice traditional cafe with lots to choose from on the menu. We will definitely be back when we are visiting Portsmouth.

This mom and pop run cafe has amazing food and delicious coffee. My wife and I ordered the English Breakfast and Bumper Breakfast with an Americano coffee and tea. Definitely would go here again!

A great little cafe serving real food, run by a lovely couple. Worth walking out of Gunwharf Quays for a proper breakfast.

Couple of days spent in Portsmouth site seeing. Had our breakfasts at Cafe Oasis each morning. Superb service and food. Support the independent businesses.

Basic cafe but excellent value for money. Freshly cooked food. Run by older couple, but short-staffed but very little delay in service. Helpful, friendly, the place looked a bit tired but no complaints.

My girlfriend and I ventured into this lovely little cafe after a day at Gunwharf, and we loved it, and will be going back for sure. It’s not actually called Café Oasis, the owner explained to me that he had borrowed the barrier from his son’s cafe. This is actually called The Slipway, as it is directly opposite a slipway across the road. The cafe has a great nostalgic feel to it, and took my back to my 80s childhood with some of the decor inside. The gentleman that owns and runs the place is a very friendly guy, and up for a good chat. We ordered our food and paid by card, and took a seat outside to enjoy the weather. Food came quickly and my cheeseburger was so full of flavour, topped with a very nice mature cheddar. My girlfriend had a smoked salmon and cream cheese baguette, which she described as perfect, and was surprised how much salmon was in it. For afters, I couldn’t resist a strawberry ice cream, the good stuff, made with clotted cream and real strawberry chunks. We loved this place and would recommend to anyone. 10 out of 10, will eat here again!

Leave your luggage AND have a good meal! Very friendly owners who run the business. Wonderful fish and chips and lovely English breakfast! The toast was even perfectly buttered all the way to the edges!
