Popped in to purchase a Coke as I was waiting to meet a family member who lived nearby. The place was clean and welcoming. The Garden is definitely a showpiece and massive for a Portsmouth City Pub. Can imagine Sunday roast with the family was be a nice venue. I heard from others this is a nice pub.

Really nice place to hang out, reasonably priced alcohol, friendly staff, they have a really great open mic every Thursday! Also during the summer it's great as they have a huge outdoor beer garden with some lovely views of the surrounding architecture.
